Work and money

FOC was like 3 months ago, yet all the matters pertaining to it still haven settle yet.. just dont feel like dealing with it.. but, y drag another 2 weeks and feel miserable when u can get it done in a few days and enjoy the rest of the week? *sigh* PROCRASTINATION~~

finally handed in my Structural assignment.. i wont say i put in 100% effort..

life these days are so monotonous, even though my every schedule is full of activities.. i guess i over commit myself.. wanted to pull out of certain things.. but it is not nice to pull out just like tat.. after all the effort i put in, all the time i put in, all the money i spend on it.. *sigh* i need a short get-away..

finally today will be the last tuition for this year.. well, at least until late Dec.. hahah.. dont have to drag my feet to the kids house and spend 2 hours getting agitated.. but tat also means i dont have income till lets say, late Dec or Jan.. money money money.. where is all the money? if only i have a million dollars (preferably US$, Sterling Pound also can)~~

motivation to do work and to study are back.. wohoo~~ kampate for the last sem.. no more chance to take exam le.. haahha.. also means last chance to pull up my overall grade.. first class honour, where are you?

watched an episode of "Dear, Dear, Son-in-Law" (女婿当家).. not bad.. interesting story line.. but hor, i find Jeanette Aw acting a bit weird weird (no offence to her fans, okay).. sometimes very fake, sometimes okay, sometimes just plain weird.. and i meant all in 1 episode you know.. funny hor.. this drama can be consider one of the better one bah.. recently TCS drama just cant make it, but this one worth woching bah..

started watching TV and doing work together recently.. not bad.. not too distracting though.. in fact i did more work while watching TV compared to without.. probably used to do it this way since young bah.. used to crowd around the living room table with my sis to do homework or study while watching TV.. haha..

missing out so much of TV shows.. must catch up now.. haha..

Mindless grumbling

funny.. realise tat the blooger log-in page had added a list of languages.. and also realise tat there is no Bahasa Melayu.. Malay Language.. how come? there is Bahasa Indonesia but no Bahasa Melayu.. well, i think my Bahasa Melayu deteriorated le.. now can only converse.. if ask me to write essay, i'll die.. converse still no problem.. *sheepish grin*

yesterday was fun.. steamboat @ Bugis.. reminded of the "go go go" experience with LT.. haha.. too bad he was not there yesterday, otherwise will be more fun.. hahah.. dessert after tat was nice too.. and the nua-ing @ MacD.. haha..

so lethargic recently.. and the my last exam will be coming really soon.. kampate..

something wrong with my nose.. keep running.. sianz.. need to catch it back (okay a bit lame).. i think my room too dusty.. need to spring cleaning again.. hahah..

and when was the last time i'm back home? ages ago.. 1 month? 2 months? i'm not sure.. but one thing for sure, i'm going back home next next weekends.. y not next week? well, cant, cos got something else which i cant reschedule..

everyone is just too busy.. where is the spontaneity?

Ripley's Believe It Or Not!

believe it or not.. i have a quiz, which worth 30%, in about 12 hours time.. and i'm still here blogging, clicking on facebook and watching anime, instead of studying.. hahah..

believe it or not.. i ate 3 cups of yoghurt tonight, consecutively.. i wonder if i'll 'lao sai' becouse of all the yoghurt.. hahah..

though got a quiz later.. but i'm not stress at all.. in fact i'm feeling good.. weird huh.. hahha..

Sneezing and flu-ish

i was a little bit drenched on my way home from tuition yesterday.. i tot i'll be okay.. wont fall sick since only a little bit.. suay suay, i'm sick now.. woke up sneezing badly and a bit flu-ish..

am a bit motivated to study.. wohoo~~ wanna kampate.. there will be no lesson tomolo.. yeah, can study the whole day.. hahah.. dilligently planned out my study timetable for the week le.. hope can follow through..

on a side note, i seems to be getting poorer and poorer.. where all the money gone to?? hahah.. starting a "Donate-to-Edmund's-Grad-Trip Fund".. short form - DEGT Fund.. who wanna donate?? all donation is welcome.. all kind hearted ppl will be given a photograph of Edmund taken at his grad trip destination.. hahah..

IS1 test was over.. surprisingly not tat difficult.. waiting for the next level to start.. wohoo~~

The Convenient of VISA

was the last tuition of this semester today.. but it was like such a long time since i gave tuition to HI student.. hahah.. cant really remember when was the last time..

neeway, just went to eat with the Clementi gang after tuition.. such a long time also since last outing.. went to Manhattan Fish Market @ Central, Clarke Quay.. nice place.. nice food.. company was GOOD~~ singing old chinese songs together with HZ, V-jie, TL, Melvin.. hahaha.. fun.. ate a bit too much, and my stomach still very full now..

went to Ark (aka 'Mu Chuan').. not bad.. the band, Azure, not bad too.. haha.. we sent in list after list after list of songs request.. but too bad, they only sang a few of the songs tat we wanted.. haha.. still not bad..

first time sign my UOB Debit Card.. haahah.. wohoo~~ cool, man~~ can show off a bit.. hahah.. also first time using it to purchase something over the net.. ahhhh~~ the convenient of VISA!! bought a song over the net.. cost me USD0.99 (SGD1.45).. cannot use it too often.. will become broke.. haha.. must control.. luckily there isnt much things tat i wanted to buy over the net.. haha..

finally decided on doing hornbill as FYP project.. not going to change liao.. watever other ppl say, i'm not going to change my mind liao.. *cross fingers* hope i can get tat project and nobody fight with me..

another 1 and a half sem and i'll be graduating.. will be going into the work force soon.. dont think i'm ready for it yet.. most of my friends oledi mapped out their career path or at least know wat they wanted to do.. i'm still uncertain.. teacher, researcher, management? still dont know leh..

these few days dont have any motivation.. just waiting for divine intervention.. but i know it is not going to happen.. motivation dont come just like tat.. so waiting for motivation is futile.. wat i should do is start doing things, and as i do, motivation will come..

IS1 test this coming sunday.. another step closer to interpreter.. haha.. =)

i want retail therapy.. if only i have all the money in the world.. or half of it.. haha..

watching 'Crimson Sabre' now.. i think i like 'wuxia' drama more than modern days drama.. the sword fighting and and kungfu.. whoosh whoosh whoosh~~ *flashes of light from swords*

there are just too many HK drama to watch and too little time.. haha..

i better catch some sleep before lesson starts later.. =)

Oktoberfest 2007 @ Clarke Quay

wohoo~~ hou high ar..

the Oktoberfest at Clarke Quay really nice.. it all started with WS and me 'gian' going to try out all the German beers.. so jio-ed some ppl to head down to Clarke Quay for the Oktoberfest there.. though only 4 of us, but luckily we didnt cancel it.. auntie and MT, isn't it 'heng' tat the 2 of u still come.. hahah.. high right..

the atmosphere there was good.. nice beers and food.. music okay.. and the ppl who went were high too.. me, WS, MT, auntie and Yuan Suan (YS, spell correctly mah?).. nice.. had lotsa beers.. 6 glass plastic cup and 4 bottles.. whoosh~~

went on stage to win some prizes also.. haha.. high.. have to eat this fat sausage, take off my shirt and put on the Oktoberfest shirt and lastly, drink a glass of beer from a straw.. haha.. didnt win though.. but i'm second.. hahah.. i cant believe i take off my shirt in public.. well, all in the name of fun and high.. haha.. the prize is nice though.. hahah..

going again tomolo.. wohoo~~ and the next year, and the year after tat, and the year after and after.. well, u all get wat i meant.. haha..

The Same Old Bullshit From NTU Campus Security AGAIN!!

it happened again and i got the same old bullshit..

yeah, u all had guessed it oledi.. i lost my room keys again.. darn it right.. and yeah again, u all guessed it again.. NTU campus security gave me bullshit again.. "Sorry, we dont have spare keys to Hall 16. Can you just stay with your friends till Monday."

kaoz.. seriously this is not the way to settle this lor.. if they can have spare keys for other halls, why cant they have it for Hall 16?

luckily i didnt lock my windows grills (cos i lost the keys also.. seriously i can keep losing stuff..).. so i wanted to climb the through the windows.. guess wat.. they asked me to just climb lor.. they dont even want to witness it or make sure i didnt climb to other ppl room.. someone must do something about it.. seriously..

being mad make u hungry.. i shall go and dig for food.. hahah..

out of the 10 friends tat i asked to go along for blood donation, 11 will say no~~ amazing right!! (okay, a bit exaggerate).. how selfish ppl can be..

wat appalled me is, they dont give a valid reason for a NO.. i dont understand.. they dont even go for the health assessment, how can they just say NO? how can they just say NO when they haven even try to?

the worst reason is busy or no time.. hello~~ wake up.. a pack of blood can save 3 lifes.. isnt it enuf for u to go and donate? lets say u spend 45 mins (including admin etc).. 45 mins in exchange for 3 lifes.. isnt it worth it?

So here i'm pleaing for all those who read my blog.. please try to go and donate blood.. please do not just give a NO.. go for the health assessment, if really no, then fine, it might be fate.. so next time i hope my friends will not just brush off my invitation to go donate blood with just a plain, monotonous NO..

Tropical shrub VS. Hornbill

met with one of the potential FYP supervisor today.. doing some hornbill projects.. still unsure if i want to take up tat project.. deciding between my favourite, plant, or these hornbill projects.. hornbill project gotta go Pulau Ubin EVERYDAY!! but they have a 'chalet' there where we can stay overnight if we want.. then can stay a few days in Pulau Ubin, a few days back in hall? sounds not bad ehh.. hahah.. well, will be talking to another Prof regarding the tropical shrub first before i decide..

anyway, started my slimming down programme.. hahah.. hope to reduce my waistline by one inch per month.. hehe.. will be jogging about 3 times a week.. then if i can go get my swimming trunks, then will throw in a swimming session per week too.. hahhah..

talking about jogging, i need a new running shoes le.. anybody want to sponsor? a super early birthday present~~ i dont mind de.. hahah.. or a super belated birthday for those who haven got me any.. hahah.. joking..

me and my younger sis are like, how should i say, twins? whenever we are together, we will be sticking to each other, talking non-stop.. used to remember last time we always talk till late at night.. till mom came and scold us and hush us to sleep.. or while i'm showering, she will be sitting outside the toilet door to talk to me.. or vice versa.. haha.. shouting through the sound of the shower, just to continue talking to each other.. tat is the extend.. really can talk hor.. haha.. even our relatives knew about it.. haha.. =p

i like the way Roald Dahl described things in his book..

to those who haven read the book "The Witches" by Roald Dahl too, i highly recommend it~~ my fav story book.. i think i had read it for like 4 times.. wait, is it 5 or 6?? hahah.. cant remember.. whenever i'm bored and got nothing to do, i'll just dig it out to read.. hahah..

though i'm a fan of Roald Dahl, but there r still lots of his books i haven read.. hahah.. gonna go get it all one day..

A different Children's Day

my grumpy mood didnt improve much today.. especially with Muscle Bio lec.. the lecturer is plain irritating.. shouldnt have taken it.. after his nagging, became even grumpy..

the Business Plan discussion wasnt tat good.. i'm still lost.. *sigh* gotta rush the stuff out.. seriously, 1 week to come out with Business Plan when we dont even know anything about business.. *sigh* well, no matter how much i complain, i still need to produce the plan.. so no point lamenting.. just go ahead and do..

organised an impromptu Children's Day celebration.. hahah.. i'm still young okay.. well, the turn out wasnt tat good.. but considering everyone is busy now, the turn out rate can be considered acceptable bah.. hahah.. everyone just brought a packet of junk food.. well, children love junk food!! hahah.. had too many tidbits tonight.. feel so unhealthy.. better drink more water.. hahah..

nowadays everyone is just too busy.. busy with quizes, presentations, projects, etc etc.. can even have a proper lunch/dinner with them.. wat happen to our weekly study on monday? wat happen to our weekly dinner? arrgghh~~
