been waking up very early these few days.. to go to work and also to settle my FOC stuff.. it is very draining.. dont feel like working anymore.. sianz.. wanted to fake sick so tat dont have to go to work.. hahhaa.. should i?

i'm so tempted to call the office now and said i'm sick.. so tempted.. but not very good to last minute pangseh leh.. cos tat booth only got me alone, if i pangseh, they last minute how to find replacement?? *sigh*

COR '07: Learn Without Boundaries, Give Without Condition

back from COR '07 yesterday.. still haven unpack yet.. *darn* got a lot of clothes to wash.. how i wish i'm back home now.. then my mom will wash for me.. hahah..

Learn Without Boundaries
a few new experiences this year.. got memorable one got not so good one..
1. journey by train is not easy.. avoid the seats near the cabin doors.
2. sleeping in cave was okay lah.. beware of jutting rocks.. alot of ppl snores in their sleep..
3. crawling in caves was not easy.. luckily, i'm slim enuf to go through.. haha.. nature is amazing.. natural rocks can form shape of ostrich, frog, dicipline teacher, merlion, prata, guy and gal on chair, eagle, monalisa..
4. tried abseiling, rock climbing and flying fox in secondary school before, but still enjoyable..
5. first time do river crossing.. fun!!! no much chance to do tat..
6. canopy walk, it confirmed my phobia, scared of height!!

Give Without Condition
not only towards the beneficiaries, but also towards the most-taken-for-granted-ppl, aka your friends.. i had learn more about my RSPHI friends!! can confirm one thing also.. they r a bunch of nice and fun loving ppl!! wohoo~~ more bonded?? hahha.. *damn gay lah*

the whole trip was fulfilling.. i think it was better than last year COR.. mainly due to i'm more involved this year though i'm just a subcomm/normal volunteer compared to last year where i'm the main commer/chief interpreter..

i think my signing improved a lot since last year COR.. can terp better.. but cannot complacent.. must work harder.. i'm aspired to be a fully certified interpreter!! wohoo~~

though this year COR was fun, there were certain things tat i dont really like about it.. sorry in advance to the COR comm ppl.. i think the cross-dressing pageant and the tao-pok session is not really suitable.. before i start commenting, i must give credit, both the pageant and the tao-pok was indeed fun.. i enjoyed it.. but then i cannot see the benefits of these 2 programmes.. the cross-dressing provide good laugh and sheer fun, but i think it is not very nice to have since we have children and beneficiaries.. i dont think it is a good example.. the tao-pok session was fun too, but i find it a bit violent.. also not good to do tat in front of children and beneficiaries..

there were things tat happen tat made me very angry too.. fuming.. but i'm okay now, just tat my impression on tat person not tat good anymore, well, not tat it was very good to start with.. hahah..

then again, i must comment on WS!! he is darn responsible throughout the camp.. if you're going to find someone tat is most concerned about the beneficiaries' welfare, tat will be WS.. i think he was worried about the beneficiaries all the time.. i can see tat sometimes the other main commer also neglect the beneficiaries.. WS won the most-responsible-main-commer award given out by the Edmund's Annual Award for the Volunteers.. sorry to TL, MT, YX, Des, Pat, i'm not saying tat you guys not good, just tat WS was better or at least i cant see you guys in action.. hahah.. try again next time yeah..

i also realise tat i really really like social work alot.. maybe i can give up my ambition of being a teacher and be a social worker instead.. hahahha..

Pre COR 2007

wohoo~~ my backpack packed liao (yesh, you heard it.. i got myself a backpack, a 70 L backpack)..

setting off soon.. another experience with RSPHI.. this time will be going to Taman Negara.. though is in malaysia, i also never been there before.. hahaha

I'm stressed

i'm stressed out.. but i have nobody to blame.. blame it on myself..

serve me right.. yeah, i know liao.. still i think this thing is going to repeat itself again in the future.. seriously i need to buck up (and how many times i said tat oledi?? uncountable).. make sure everything i do will be the best from now onwards!!!

is there really things like fate and 'ming zhong zhu ding'?? if anyone of you know about numerology, there is this thing called life number and name number.. if i didnt remember wrongly, either one of my life number or name number is 5.. and ppl with tat will tend to experience something, forgot about it, experience the same thing and thought it is a whole new experience.. thus, they (me included) tend to repeat the same mistake, cos they keep forgeting the experience.. how true.. cos i keep repeating my mistake and everytime i said i want to change, it will be the same.. really cannot break out of fate?? but ppl also say you control you own life.. *sigh*

someone just slap me and let me wake up from my fantasy..

KK B'day and SCOOPZ

went back JB over the weekend to celebrate KK birthday.. a must go back.. KK, YF and CY, my 3 best friends from JB..

not really of a party, just the 4 of us dining together.. KK, YF, CY and me.. italian food anyone?? haha.. had dinner at this italian restaurant in JB, Italiannies.. food not bad, price still affordable considering the place is like a fine dine place.. hahaha..

ohhh.. all of us r so busy.. really hard to find time to meet each other.. now CY started to work le.. YF and KK busy with their studies.. well, future doctors, wat to do.. hahah.. and me, i'll be in Singapore most of the time.. really hard.. but not the quantity, is the quality tat matters.. hahah..

luckily for my dad, i'm not studying medicine.. he always complain tat if i study medicine, i'll nag him the whole day regarding his unhealthy habits (fatty pig trotters, smoking, alcohol).. which is kinda true.. now tat KK and YF r studying studies, they always talk about those medical jargons and case studies.. arrgghh.. hahaah.. now i understand my dad's feeling..

ohhh.. had ice-cream from SCOOPZ on friday and saturday!! fabulous.. it is the 'fall-down-from-heaven' type of ice-cream.. haha.. 'chong tian er jiang'.. the durian flavoured one is fantastic.. made from pure durian.. every bite of the ice-cream is just like eating durian!! must have it again.. then, all the other flavours seems very tempting also.. hahah.. SCOOPZ, a must try!!!

so fast another sem is over.. 2 more semester in NTiU.. so fast..

today got my result for this sem.. haha.. surprisingly, i didnt fail any.. i tot i will have to retake the structural biology module.. hahaha.. Cs and Bs and 1 D for my Human Resource module.. hahah.. i tot i'll get an A for my Pharmacology.. cos i studied very very hard for my pharmacology.. well, i think a B+ is still acceptable bah.. and i guess this B+ is the best so far.. hahaha.. did i improve?? well, i think no bah.. still the same leh.. =P

only 2 more sem.. must pia for the last sem liao.. still want to get my second upper.. hahah.. kampate!!

was working at Hong Kah Point.. manning the gazebo booth.. giving out flyers, balloons and look after the "Lucky Spin"...

now i'm tired and have a swollen fingers and thumbs.. was tying balloons almost the whole day!! my poor fingers... then again, kinda fun... most of the kids r cute and adorable!! really feel like pinching their faces... some shy, some funny, some just plain adorable... ohhh, actually i'm looking forward to greet them... hahah... BUT there are some really really irritating and unruly kids!!! those are the one tat you feel like slapping hard on the faces... they are really rude and demand for balloons, then greedy some more, want more than 1...

now about aunties... some r cute too... they gave interesting comments and some r so hips and funky... but of course there r those naggy aunties tat keep complaining tat i'm cheating them... i didnt... i didnt programmed the lucky spin thingy... hahahah... i'm oledi nice enuf to give them extra stuff if they didnt win anything... hahah... ohhh... and some aunties r really kiasu man... cannot stand it... hahah...

nothing much about the passerby... i guess singapore is just plain fast-paced... so ppl tend to ignore the flyers giver (which is me)... hahaha

Pirates, Spelling and Star

watched Pirates 3.. errmm, kinda disappointed.. if Spiderman 3 is bad, Pirates 3 is equally bad.. Spiderman 3 is too rush, Pirates 3 is too draggy.. and a bit complicated, dont really understand wats going on.. then there is all those funny moments, which are very funny, but i dont think it is suitable lor.. it is just funny but dont fit in at all..

there is this new channel 5 game show, Spell Cast.. well, not tat i want to discredit them, but i believe it is just a copied version of the American Spelling Bee competition.. mind you, Spelling Bee is a HUGE competition in America.. from the TV commercial, i dont think Spell Cast can be compared to Spelling Bee.. well, cant really judge now, have to watch a few episode first.. in case you all dont know, in Spelling Bee, you never heard of the words at all..

the singapore Star Search is back again.. always wanted to try joining.. maybe i should join.. haha.. maybe i'll be a star one day!! wohoo~~ hou high ar..

where should i start?? so many things to write.. haha.. cos too many things happened le.. LOL

Day 0.. the most memorable will be the Kenny Rogers' macaroni cheese.. cos when it came, it was cold, thus YL snapped her fingers to get the waitress attention.. well, we managed to get another bowl of hot macaroni cheese, but we suspected it got special seasoning, the saliva!! *eww* cos very watery.. we ate it anyway.. haha.. do we look like we will waste food??

the whole trip to Langkawi was not easy.. 10++ hours of bus ride.. i think my butt flat liao!! arrgghh.. the "sampan" (said by Pat) got aircon de!! actually not sampan lah.. is a ferry.. about 45 mins of ferry ride bah.. wohoo~~ the sun, the sea and the beach!!

the very first thing we did at Langkawi was to eat lunch.. haha.. a bit ex though.. well, tourist attraction places are like tat.. next stop was the Four Season Hotel!! haha.. we are not tat rich to stay there!! just passing by only.. and we "sneak" (i think we 'guang ming zhen da' lor) into their private beach.. nice and quiet place.. but YL complained tat there was no hunk at the beach.. haha.. of course we kena chased away lah, cos is a private beach mah.. boohoo~~ thus we went back to our own resort with our own beach too!!!

YX: When we go down there got liao lor.

YL: Then I dont want to be in the same group as u all.

a whole afternoon at the beach with volleyball, frisbee and suntanning.. YL still not tanned after at whole afternoon suntanning.. hahah.. she said one word "气".. haha.. all the sports sure make us hungry!! the COCO Beach Seafood Restaurant.. the food okay!! nice view too.. outdoor dining.. not bad!! fish, crab, prawn!! ooolaalaa~~

LOL

2nd day!! WS, Pat and YL 'hou high' ar!! early in the morning went swimming in the pool.. me and YX preferred the bed.. haha.. YX really sleep like a log.. haha.. buffet breakfast was waiting for us though.. i went in the earliest.. haha.. dont want to lose out mah.. but the buffet is okay only lah.. not really very fantastic.. but at least can fill our stomach!! hahah..

went for cable car ride.. and i'm scared of height!! my legs went wobbling.. nothing up at the moutain.. but got very nice scenery!! ooolaalaa~~ can touch the cloud too!!

waterfall was next.. nice view.. very cooling water on a hot sunny day.. "shiok ah!" was the first reaction from WS! and YX fell down here.. well, not a serious fall.. just a slip i think.. haha.. we all a bit dumb.. we all stand and sit at the rocks to sun ourselves dry cos we all forgot to bring extra set of clothes.. haha..

intended to go to the Korean Restaurant next to our resort.. but it looked very suspicious and the whole building very 'lok kok'.. went to this middle eastern restaurant instead.. had this bread thingy which we all forgot the name.. hahha..

well, of course the middle restaurant was not filling.. second stop for dinner will be Jap food!! Unkaizan, (雲)云海山. but Pat read as 雪梅山 because of the traditional chinese writing.. chui leh Pat..

the food was darn nice lah.. service ichiban too!! salmon, chicken teriyaki, soba, vegetable tempuras, steam eggs, miso soup.. ooohlaaalaaa~~ i believed is the best Jap food i ever ate so far!!

ohh.. as we passed by this restaurant called Fat Mum, YL called Pat "Fat Mum".. haha.. then i'm called PapaDum (PapaDumb) cos there is an indian restaurant called Papadum..

oh.. we managed to get back to the resort, in 1 piece.. YL's dangerous driving.. almost knocked into another car cos she didnt check the other side of the road!! scary.. no more YL's driving.. banned!!

2nd night, we went for the pub in the resort.. ordered a bottle of white wine.. RM40.. darts and 'asshole tai-di' again.. hahah.. Huan called Pat "crab" when we returned to the room after drinking.. Pat asked if she's as tanned as a Malay.. Huan exclaimed she's as red as a lobster.. "No wonder I called you crab".. Huan was DRUNK!! Pat gave a huge whack with pillow.. Huan panted very hard.. OMG!! "No exercise after drinking wine!".. chio-ga-pengz!!

3rd day was for island hopping!! we chartered the whole boat to ourselves!! foohoo~~ but before that we had to resort to various method to wake YX and YL up.. tickling & foot massage!! Pregnant Maiden Lake. Legend has it tat ladies tat bath in there will sure get pregnant!! heng ar.. none of the 3 girls went in for a dip, else me and WS have to be responsible.. it is a very big lake, can swim, paddle some boats, soak your feet and let fishes nibble.. we didnt stop her for long.. cos nothing much to do..

Eagle feeding was next!! the boatman brought us to this place where we can watch eagle.. initially we wanted to skip this but luckily didnt.. there r really a lot of eagles there.. very majestic..

Pulau Beras Basah - literal translation will be Wet Rice Island.. was supposed to snorkle here.. but ended up cannot.. a bit disappointing.. still it was great fun here!! the sun, the sea and the beach!! foohoo~~ swam the whole afternoon.. halfway, suddenly all the ppl gone, only left the 5 of us.. became like our own private island like tat.. haha.. ohh.. we managed to teach YX how to swim.. LOL.. but she took advantage of Pat.. while Pat teaching, she touch her and hug her very very tight.. hahah..

i guess everyone was addicted to swimming.. when back from island hopping, we continue swimming in the pool in the resort.. then we realise YX is Godzilla's relative.. she is Pui-zilla.. she will pui 口水.. haha.. Pat and WS were the victim of her saliva!!

how can we leave out food right.. food is our life!! haha.. Tepanyaki for the last night in the resort!! hahah.. we waited like till 9++ pm then can eat.. wah.. almost fainted due to hunger.. hahah.. the beef and the fish was nice.. the rest was a bit too salty.. is it the Langkawi style tat it is salty?? hahah.. maybe.. another bottle of wine!! this time is red wine.. *ahem* we are not alcoholic!! hhahah.. happy occasion mah.. so must enjoy lah..

we had mask on for the last night.. after all the sun and the sea.. must pamper our face back.. hahha.. =P

last day was just cruising around in the car.. when to this place with lots of yatch.. haha.. YL, when u gonna get one?? LOL whoever tat get a yatch must invite us okay!! hahah.. had our lunch there too.. at this USSR restaurant.. not bad food!! hahah..

ohh... we missed the timing when we were on the trip back.. got onto a later ferry and in the end missed our bus back.. *arrgghh*.. chui.. wasted the bus ticket money.. no choice lor.. have to buy another one.. ohh.. and during last day, Pat a bit sick.. haha.. but okay lah.. i think is the sun, hot and the water cool, hot and cool.. then later sick.. hahah..

did i miss out anything?? i think i missed out alot of things leh.. it seems alot of things happen.. but how come this entry only so short?? hmmm.. YX, YL, Pat, WS, add in if i missed out anything.. hehehe.. everyone else, envious?? haha.. you all can organise again.. i dont mind going again.. but i want to stay Four Season Hotel!! hahah..

Traffic Counting

another long day working!! S$80!! wohoo~~ got paid on the spot.. haha..

14 hours of traffic counting is not fun okay.. bored.. totally bored.. nothing much to do but to press the counter.. *grrrhhh*

tomolo will be working also.. should be better de.. 'jaga' booth only.. they have the gazebo booth.. haha.. can bring magazine, story book or even lecture notes to read.. hahaha..

i'm darn tired now.. need to sleep soonz.. =)

Painful back

*aww* *aww* *aww* oh, my back.. it is darn painful now..

today was the 2nd day i worked as flyers distributor.. though the working hours is not very long, only 3 hours each day, but it surely not easy.. firstly, have to stand the whole 3 hours.. not easy.. then you need to have a strong back and hands.. else you will be so sore.. not my back is like breaking.. now, where is tat Yoko Yoko?

i think i need to get a massage..
