Entangled in The Web of Love

nope... i'm not referring to me... dont worry, i'm still much single and available... just feel like posting something on the mysterious affair called 'LOVE'... actually spurred by something tat happen recently!! haha.. u all can guess wat happen.. i'm not gonna say anything..

i wont claim myself to be some Love guru, or expert in Relationship or some counsellor for problematic BGR... after all i'm only in a relationship for once, and it dont last very long... however, i do have friends who are in various stage of relationship, form just dating to happily married to enduring break-up etc etc...

still remember my previous post on LOVE?? well here is the link... scroll to the November 14th entry... just wanna add on to tat...

in relationship, there is no who is right and who is wrong... if a couple break-up, it just means they r not meant to be together... even though one party may be at fault, but have u asked yourself, r u totally not wrong at all? yesh, u may have contributed alot, sacrifice alot for the relationship, but tat doesnt mean tat the relationship gonna last...

there r much more than sacrifice... just like trust (which means u dont go around spying on your partner or something similar)... oh yah, if u want ppl to trust u, u have to trust tat person too and earn tat trust too!! u dont go around wanting ppl to trust u yet u doubt him/her at the same time!! tat is just not right!! another way to show trust is to discuss any prob in the relationship face to face and immediately... u dont bottled up for very long then explode one day... couples have to go through alot of hurdles... one way to make it easier is to discuss the prob immediately and try to solve it ASAP!! dont bottled up and wait...

oh yah, another very common reason ppl wanna breakup is because of, well, tat other party been going out with other friends... hahha... sound silly... well, being in a relationship also means he/she has his/her own personal life... he/she can have his/her own opposite sex friends... and they may be closed too!! yesh, it is true, u may want to, u know, keep a bit of distance, but how far the distance is determined by your partner, u have absolutely no right to interfere with who he/she make friends with and who he/she go out with or when he/she go out... if u cannot tolerate it, then both of u just have to work something out!!

oh yah... last but not least... when break-up, please, please, please dont make it so draggy... if u wanna break-up, then do a clean one... u dont have to rake up wat u had done or how much u have sacrifice... all this doesnt matter anymore from the moment u said u wanna break-up... once again, in relationship, there is no right or wrong... u yourself wanna do so much and sacrifice so much, nobody force u... so dont rake tat up when u wanna break-up... nobody gonna sympatise with u!! dont try to make yourself pitiful, your partner wont come back to u... and nobody gonna pity u anyway... SO ONE LAST ADVICE, IF WANNA BREAK-UP, DO A NICE AND CLEAN ONE... MOVE ON PLEAZZZEEE

PS - why am i blogging about all this stuff on a christmas day?? i also dont know... suddenly got emotional!! maybe more on love coming up... just maybe... cos now is the season for love, so now i got very emotional and just wanna blog about love!!! whee~~ merry christmas everyone!!

A Very Different Christmas

spend a very different christmas!! lets start from the beginning!!

well, this year as usual, i'm involved in RSPHI Christmas Song Signing!! for those who dont know, it was like carolling, but slightly different!! instead of singing, we sign out the lyrics, to spread the joy and spirit of Christmas to the Hearing Impaired community...

all the practices and performances r actually kinda fun!! the juniors r onz, the seniors r crazy, add together wat will u get?? a very fun experience!! the most unforgetable was the christmas present exchange and present shopping!! because we were kinda pressed for time, we shop for present together.. then the interesting part was tat, some of us wanted to get prezzie for certain ppl tat we want to give.. sometimes we dont know wat he/she want.. so it became very complicated as we spy, send spies, ask around wat he/she like.. all behind that particular person back.. and also have to ask ppl to distract him/her so tat we can get the prezzie.. hahah.. wohoo~~ think i got addicted to shopping le.. now hand a bit itchy to shop.. retail therapy they called it.. i say it is shopping addict.. hahahaha..

well, then today, a unplanned christmas eve gathering.. originally, just wanted to eat some bah kut teh with some friends at Alexendra Rd.. ended up becoming a mini gathering.. haha.. met up with TL, YX, Alvin, Ibu, Nissa Jie.. ate bak kut teh, laksa, oyster omelete.. then some shopping at IKEA.. ever heard of Christmas eve at IKEA?? followed by hotdog and desert.. during the desert, we started to jio more ppl out for dinner!! wohoo~~ this is when it became a mini gathering.. hahah.. although Alvin and Nissa jie went back, but we got the addition of Auntie Pat, Weisheng, Go Go Go, thousand-hand LV, Huizhen and Yulei!! hahaah.. sitting at Gelare @ Holland V.. think we make too much noise le and scared all the other customers away.. maybe they will ban us next time.. but too fun.. laugh till u cramp.. and the nonsense we do and talk about.. oh yah.. we cooked up some very funny and interesting story.. LOL.. show u all the story next time..

now can be considered as Christmas day le.. y m i not sleeping yet?? not because i wanted to wait for Santa, but i'm mass chatting on msn with the bunch of RSPHI ppl.. hahah..

whee~~ need to get back to the mass chat le... photos next time bah.. so is with other ppl.. hahahah...

PS - do ppl make Christmas resolution?? cos i wanna make 1, i wanna diet!! waist is expanding non-stop!! arrghhh... must get back to 31 inches!! my norm!! LOL

Holiday Trip to Langkawi

wow!! last post is on 3rd Dec... so long ago... hahah

well, just got back from Langkawi, an island in Malaysia!! nice place to go.. sandy beach, sunny sea, lots of interesting places to visit and nice resort to just nua!!

okay, the whole Langkawi trip on the whole is NICE!! okay, all the pic have to wait till i got it from my sis!!

to summarise, we visited:
1. the famous beach with black sand (yup, black sand!!)
2. the famous field of burnt rice (nothing much to see)
3. island hopping - Pulau Dayang Bunting, Pulau Singa Besar & Pulau Beras Basah
4. go try cable car but unfortunately, bad weather, cannot take cable car
5. crocodile farm
6. wildlife park
7. Perdana Gallery

Due to the short time span, there r lots of stuff tat we didnt do and try also... hope to go again next time... hehehe... but hopefully with friends instead!! hahaha

things tat we dont have enuf time to do:
1. visit Book Village
2. visit Mount Raya
3. try the spa and massage
4. go underwater world
5. visit the famous Mahsuri Tomb and some ancient tomb
6. visit Snake Santuary
7. visit Anna & The King Gallery
8. visit the Seven Wells
9. visit some of the caves - Cave of Legends, Cave of Porcupine
10. visit Laman Padi
and many many more... so u see, can still go there again!!! hahahah

i realise, it is important to choose your 'travel-mate' wisely... this time, i went to Langkawi with my family members and some relatives... the thing is not tat i dont like travelling with them, but sometimes (i said sometimes only ar) travelling with them spoil some of the holiday mood... well, the small kids will throw tantrum, the elderly will be nagging here and there, how fun can it be?? *sigh* i shall not elaborate... maybe next time...

right now i need to rest... will upload the photos of Langkawi soon!! =)

Garang Guni experience

我的妈，我的妈，我的肌肉，长怎么大，你要不要摸一摸

wohoo... i know how to write chinese too!!! hahah...

went for COR canvassing today... distribute flyers for our next week garang guni... ended up with a very tired feet and a blistered foot... did i mention some broken skin also... sob sob... =)

but very fun!! all the lameness & jokes!! wohoooo... actually tired from all the laughing... must quickly recover for next week real garang guni...

well, actually garang guni is not a very good canvassing job... but it is a really good bonding activity!! highly recommended for any committee, or project tat need bonding for their members... hehe...

alright... back to my hongkie drama!! update next time yah...

Serenade, Prologue of Holiday

Serenade, a piece for evening performance, usually written in honour of someone, or it can be a lover's verse sung under a lady's window

the very first day of my holiday! had some wild goose chase, subway, movie and importantly a destined encounter...

suppose to go to Bugis to meet WP and KW, but ended up waiting in Kranji mrt and still didnt have a chance to meet them... *sigh* WP, KW, we go out another time bah... hehe...

importantly, a destined encounter...

after all the wild goose chase, i decided to head over to Jurong West Community Library to borrow some books... well, not too bad, got some books tat i need... actually planning to learn designing website this holiday, so got myself some html, web page, and designing book... hehe =)

then the destined encounter happen... as i walked pass the quiet reading room in the library, i saw this familiar person... turned out to be my ex-roomie!! WOW!! long time didnt see him and dont expect to meet him so soon!! good!! so ended up spending the whole evening with him...

our favourite subway dinner, some catching up, chit-chatting... then when to catch the 11 pm Open Season... not a bad show, 3 stars out of 5... n throughout the whole movie we endulge in a little bit of sin... cookies!!!


aaahhhh... such an oppurtune meeting... planning to go eat Jap food buffet with my ex-roomie also... but tat will have to wait till his IA finishes... which is around next week... hahahaha... looking forward to it...

PS - by the way, my ex-roomie is known as Chua... he long time didnt make an appearance in my blog liao... hahha... and this post is dedicated to him... Serenade, in honour of him... and this is definitely a good beginning for my holiday

Army, duh, pleazzzeeee

Headnote: In the following post, whenever I said we/us, it refers to those that had not been through “ARMY”… If I said “ARMY guys”, I am referring to SOME, not ALL of the ARMY guys…

All these started like these : I was sleeping, then my this couple friends came and wake me up for lunch...
Girl : Edmund, wake up!! I give u 5 minutes to fall-in.
Guy : (saying to the girl) Please lah, he didn’t go to ARMY, so don’t know wat is fall-in
Me : (in my heart) *pui* another ignorant guy

I am very irritated… by these so called ARMY guys… I think (I think only ar, no scientific way to prove it yet) they r kinda shallow!! Even though we have not been through ARMY, tat doesn’t mean that we know NUT about them!!

Oh pleazzeeee!! I know wat is marching, and I had done it for like wat, 5 years!! I perfectly know wat is ‘fall-in’, ‘kebelakang pusing’ etc… and I bet some of you ARMY guys don’t even know how to spell ‘kebelakang pusing’… so pleazzeeeeee…

I have a friend (Malaysian of course) who knows more about rifles and guns than u ARMY guys know… he had tons and tons of books on rifles and guns!! try to beat that!! By the way, some of us do like rifles, fighter planes, survival stuff etc etc… so dont think tat we r ignorant of your ARMY stuff!!!

*sigh*

why is it tat my first post for my holiday is such ‘heavy’ stuff… it should be on more interesting stuff like my “311” (chuuh wan wan, @ go play play)… anyway, I’m going to Bugis now to start my “311”… =)
