Optical Woes

*sigh* lost a new pair of glasses...

today, my second sis came back from KL... so surprise to see her... and guess wat! i manage to ask her to pay for a new pair of glasses for me... and it is one promotion, RM 198 for a pair...

so i happily went to the optical shop with her... i choose and choose and finally found a pair tat i like very much... so i went ahead for the eye checkup and then the disappointment came...

"oh mister. your astig r kinda high. so you r not qualified for the promotion." "if u still want to make, it will cost you RM 333." OMG!! the difference is too big... so i decided not to make...

*sob sob* have to stick to my old pair of glasses... well, can only blame myself for not taking good care of my eyes...

Pickpocket

almost loss my handphone to a pickpocket just now...

on my way back home... and while on the queue to board the bus, someone brush pass me... not a weird thing but the fact is tat the door is kinda big, so a bit weird if he brush pass me... then feeling weird, i feel my pocket for my handphone and wallet... then i realise my handphone is not there anymore... funny thing is tat the pickpocket didnt immediately move or run away... he lingered around...

once i notice my handphone not there anymore, i immediately grab tat guy's (yes, a guy) hand and demanded tat he hand my phone over immediately... i was making a bit din over there... of course tat guy said he didnt take (duh, who would admit tat he steal something??)... then he brush away my hand and lean towards the nearby wall... after making some fuss, tat guy finally drop my phone to the floor and said tat i drop it and not he steal it... *oh please* wat a lame excuses...

anyway, luckily i gotten my phone back... can't imagine how difficult it is if i loss my phone... all the contacts gone... then have to make report... cancel the sim card, get a new sim card... waste money to get new phone (not a bad idea, huh)... *phew* so next time must guard my belonging more carefully...

*PS - i may make it sound tat i m kinda brave and courageous here... but the fact is tat i m kinda timid... this experience scared the hell out of me... :)

finally changed the song on my blog to this new song... "Top of the World" by Carpenters... it is an oldies or crudely said "old song"... but i find it really nice... it describe my feeling whenever i m happy... :) simply love this song...

anyone find it irritating when blogs have songs?? do let me know yah...

wow!! such a long time since the last time i went to help out at Blood Donation Campaign at JB...

met some old friends.. had so much fun.. too bad most of the ppl we used to go for the blood donation campaign r not there anymore.. each r busy with their own stuff.. studies, work etc etc.. really wished for a gathering to meet everyone..

well, as for today, i m the MC for the opening ceremony.. OMG!! when was the last time i speak Malay?? luckily i didnt forget my Malay.. and gosh! have to speak in front of so many ppl.. although made some mistake in my MC-ing, but overall still ok bah.. *phew*..

got treated to nice lunch today for the MC-ing job.. LOL.. never know that being a MC is so good.. next time must do again.. LOL..

on a side note, exam coming in 2 more weeks.. and i haven prepare at all.. *darn* have to start mugging le.. otherwise this semester sure get horrible result.. Kampate to me!!!
