Future

well, now i m in my friend's room, talking and chatting with him... we kinda chat about the"Future"... ever think about your future?? today, my friend set thinking about my future...

furthermore, i have a senior who graduated but until now still haven found a job yet... it is not tat his result is not good, i m sure he graduated well, yet he is still unable to find a job... now the society is so competitive, we have to choice but to stuggle and try our very best to survive...

right now, my friend is struggling to get 2 minor... b'cos a normal degree r very common now... without the 'value addedness', the degree is common... thus my friend decided to get 2 minor to make himself more 'value addedness'....

well, i agree with my friend... a degree is common now... we really need to do something... it set me thinkin'.... wat can i do?? but so far, i haven got the answer yet...

my friends out there, it is also time for u all to think a bit about your future... we should not live in the past or the future, instead live in the present... however, it never hurt to plan a bit for the future and also to learn from the past... therefore my friends out there, learn from the past, live in the present yet plan for the future...

*just some disorganised thought*

Father's Day Celebration

did i mention to u guys tat my family will be celebratin' father's day earlier??? yah... we celebrated father's day last Saturday...

the reason for celebrating earlier : as one of my sister is working in KL, she wont be around during the actual father's day... she can only get leave for a few days last week, so we celebrated earlier... another things is tat we plan to celebrate it together with our relatives (total of 3 families - my family, and 2 of my father's brother's family)... and last Saturday is the last weekend before the children have to go back to school the following week, which is this week (their mid term school holiday end last week)...

the attendance : everyone tat suppose to be there was there except for one of my cousin... she have to work night shift day tat... so we kinda left her out....

the event : at first we wanted to go to some chalet by the sea side in JB... but both my parents dont want to... so we change it to BBQ instead... the food was nice... like usual BBQ stuff - chicken wings, satay, corn, all kind of balls, hotdogs etc etc... started at around 7 pm end at around 1/2 am...

comment on the event : it dont really look like a father's day celebration... no cake, no father's day present... just BBQ... it look more like a gathering... the last time my house was filled with ppl was Chinese New Year...

wat i like about the event : the food, of course... i like the satay... although it is not some kind of famous satay, but it taste nice... or maybe it has been a long time since the last time i ate satay (only God knows when), tats y i just say it is nice... beside the food, i like the attention given to me by my uncles and aunties (guess, i m an attention-seeker)...

wat i dont like about the event : well as usual, most of the things tat needed to be done r done by me... eversince young, my sisters dont like to help doing housework... and eversince young, my mum will just ask me to do the housework (who says being the only son is a good thing... i beg to differ)... so all the washing, cutting, this and tat are all done by me (Ok, ok... not all but mostly)... another thing i dont like about a big gathering with my relative is tat the small kids like to make a whole mess in your house... they will just play with anything and the whole house will end up looking like a big hurricane just swept pass my house... and u cant really scold the small kids in front of their mom and dad... they will cry!!!

overall : 3.5 stars out of 5 stars

hmmmm.... how come the dislikes is longer tat the likes?? nevermind about tat... actually, i got take a lot of pictures... but i still dont know how to post pictures on this blog... so for now, there is no pictures....

on 18 June, i'll have a D&D... it is D&D for my Red Cresent... cant wait to attend...

Oh!! Yeah!!

now i remember wat trigger the thought of changes!!! it is the new NTU website... give my a surprise when i visit it... click here ...

Changes R the Only Constant in Life

do you agree?? nothing will remain the same forever... even the big giant solid rock will change after being shaped by the wind and/or water...

dont worry, i m not going to continue rambling about changes... it is just a fleeting thought...

well, today i m officially an "eastener"... finally, i have finished moving all my stuff to my uncle's house... then i realise tat his house has no washing machine... guess, i need to wash using my hand liao... :(

one thing i realise tat ppl here r a bit not considerate... well, today i m carrying a big bag of luggage to my uncle's house... well, most of the ppl dont even give way to me... i m not implying tat i should have the privelege, it just tat, if u see someone carrying something big and heavy, u either give way to them or help them... isn't it tat way?? NO! they didnt... not only tat, the stare at u as if u r some kind of alien... OH!!! wat a terrible experience...

well, back to the changes thingy... wat thing(s) do you want to remain the same?? for me it is my biological age... so tat i wont die... hahah... and also my friends... so wat yours??

Exhausted! Burnt! Satisfied!

okie... it has been about 5 days since my last entry... a lot of things have happened in these 5 days...

1-3 June - Senior's Camp for SBS FOC... finally, the senior's camp was over... i m glad it was over... after the camp i m so tired and not to mention 'burnt' to a crispy brown... now my skin is peeling and it look so brown/tan... well i dont mind being a bit tan but the tanning is so uneven... :( ... must do something to even it out... as for the senior's camp itself, most of the things run smoothly but i m not satisfied with my performance... i dont think i do a good job... hmmm... must 'fan sing' and see how i can improve for the actual camp...

4 June - WSC RSP HI Co-ordinator and CentreHead election... after the tiring camp, i went for HI election... actually, i m one of the nominee for the post of Co-ordinatior... i m supposed to give a speech and prepare for Q&A session, but since the few days before tat was senior's camp, i didnt prepare at all... no need to say, i cannot get the post of C0-0rdinaor... well, not tat i m dying for the post, but i just feel a bit sad... but as a consolation prize, i m elected as the next CentreHead for my centre... the truth is i m not sure if i can do it or not... actually, i take up alot of post without really doing a good job... hmmm... hope i dont screw up this one...
after the election, went to eat with all my fellow HI volunteer at Bugis... it really burn a hole in my wallet... oledi dont have much $$ but spend alot eating at expensive cafe/restaurant... well no choice, everyone want to go there... majority wins... but the food is not bad (did i mention the name of the cafe?? it is "The Movie Cafe")... after eating, my seniors in HI wanted to go walk walk around there and i tag along... it was a nice day!!!

5 June - slacking in my room and doing nothing... had oledi given up on looking for job... i think i'll just have to depend on my tuition... now i just want to slack... actually, must find something to do... wat i mean is not just work, but can be doing something constructive, like learning something or stuff like tat... but wat??

oh yea!!! i change back my blog appearance to the normal one, since i haven finish designing my new blog appearance... dont really know how to finish it... just cant find the right combination...
