Not so good week...

my, oh my... this is not a very good week!! in just a short period of 2 days, i had heard of 3 bad news...

2 of my friends have their relatives passed away... my deepest condolence to the 2 of u... another of my friend had broken his leg in some game... not sure how serious it is, cos i only heard from him in phone... but judging from his tone, shouldn't be a big issue... oh yah... not to mention, i forgot to do my lab report... how i'll have to hand in late... really not a good week...

on a brighter side, me and TL decided to provide as much support and help to our friends in need... cos he mentioned tat the month before CNY is the most 'yin' month where all unlucky stuff will happen... so ppl, please take care... "we will be there for you"

another brighter side, i managed to eat 3 boxes of Rega in one day!! or should i say 1 night... no wonder my waist is expanding exponentially... *sigh* where is my 32 inches waist? those good old days... diet? dont think i'm dicipline enought to go through it...

Fantastic Western Food!!

yum yum!!

for the past 2 weeks, i had tried 2 different western food stall... and both is simply delicious!! just wanna introduce to everyone here!!

1. Botak Jones @ Clementi
well, this western food stall @ Clementi is nice to eat and value for money!! the serving is huge, even for a guy!! easily accessible, but during peak hours, finding a seat is a problem... and u have to wait for a quite a while... alright, about their food, they have their own unique fries, which they put some spices on it... nice!! i love their sauce for their Fish & Chips... they have various stuff on their menus so u can try one out each day... hahahah... oh yah!! not to forget is that their menu is hilarious!! u should read the whole menu even though u just want a chicken wing!!

2. Burnz @ NTU Hall 11

shifted from Hall 13 to Hall 11... this western food stall serve affordable western food... and the portion not bad also... kinda big also... i love their coleslaw!! simply keep me addicted!! their sauce for the western food is good... be it chicken chop, pork chop or lamb chop, the sauce just go with everything!! although a bit far from main academic building, this stall just attract all the crowd!!! a simply must try!!!

darn!! not i'm hungry and all the western food stall are closed... hahahah... hope u all can go and try... =P

Opps... I did it again!!

nope, i'm not trying to sing Britney Spear's song! instead i'm saying i CRIED again!! Oh man...

well, first of all, i would like to say tat i'm not ashame of crying!! crying is just an expression of my emotions!! so the old saying of 'man can only shed blood but not tears' dont apply to me...

well, i cried not because i'm sad... well, the reason a bit lame lah... i cried because i watched a touching anime just now... so sad... 'Kanon 2006' episode 14!! so touching... it makes me cried uncontrollably... sob sob =( but u cannot just watch tat episode and feel touched... u must watch from the beginning!!

actually, i m easily touched and thus easily cry... as far as i can remember, whenever i watch a touchy or very emotional movie, drama etc, i'll sure cry de... the worst one was the "Blue Autumn" @ "Lan She Shen Shi Lian" @ "Qiu Tian De Tong Hua"... cried almost every episodes... =P another touching movie tat i like is "Liang Zhu" @ "Butterfly Lovers"... the story so nice!!

Okay, better go and dry my tears now!! heheehe..

Goodbye 2006, Hello 2007!

Please read the following exclusive interview with Mr. Chong Kah Phoon. (Beware, kinda lengthy)

NehNeh : So Mr. Chong, now tat 2006 was gone. How would u rate your performance in 2006? Any regrets? Any big accomplishment?

Mr. Chong : Wow!! Tat is a lot of qns. Let me answer 1 by 1. Well, I would say 2006 was just like 2005, or 2004 or 2003 or any other years! I just slacked away my 2006. If you want some figures, I would say only 40% of wat I can do if I put in all my heart! Well, not much accomplishment.

NehNeh : Really? Well, then do you have any resolutions for this year?

Mr. Chong : Resolutions. Hmmm. Usually, I'll make some resolutions, then forget about it or ignore it after 2 or 3 weeks. Haha. But still, I'll make some resolutions. First of all, I would hope tat I could put all my heart into watever tat I'm doing! Current project include studies, FOC, COR and teaching tuition. Secondly, I wished tat this year I'll lead a more healthy lifestyles. Dont abuse food, moderate exersice and stuff like tat. I'm a health conscious person, you know. Maybe I'll add in save more money or try to earn my own living cos I don't want to burden my family members.

NehNeh : Well, how would you try to realise your resolutions?

Mr. Chong : Recently, I'm reading "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" and "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". Hope it will be helpful. As for my healthier lifestyles, no comment yet. Haha.

NehNeh : Anything tat you would like to share with our readers? Or any advice?

Mr. Chong : One of my friend once told me before, "It is not how long you live tat matters, it is how you live it tat matters". Kinda true, dont you think so? I hope your readers will keep tat in mind and to grab the opportunity tat they have! Time don't wait for anybody. Seize it and live tat moment to the fullest!

New Family Members *Temporary*

3 new additional members to my family!! well, for temporary... wohoo~~ and they r *drum roll* - 3 chickens!!!


hahah... my mom bought it at some market and wanted to keep it till CNY... she said chicken during CNY will be more expensive so she bought it now and keep it till CNY... hahaha... talking about being auntie!! =P

neeway, it was kind of fascinating to watch the chicken!! the way they move and behave... and they r not afraid of human at all... well, female chicken can lay eggs without a male, so i wonder when will the 3 of them lay some eggs... hahhaha... wat will they eat ar?? i always tot tat chicken eat corn... but my mom just feed them some rice with some chopped vegie... worms?? hahah.. but where to get worms?? maybe they will find some themselves at my backyard... hahah...

okay, tats all... i need to get out of hall now le... must continue my '311' module before my holiday ends!!!

New Year's Eve @ Airport

wohoo~~ (i think i'm addicted to this word!!)

not only i spend a very different Christmas Eve, i also spend a very different New Year's Eve!!

as usual, outing with RSPHI ppl always involved food!! this time was no exception also!! food adventure from morning till night!!

first stop was the famous Nasi Lemak @ ChomPang, but unfortunately, it was not open (due to Hari Raya Haji)... but tat dont dampen us!! there were plenty of other good food around there.. muahahahah.. had some hong kong style 'chee chuong fen', kop some dessert and curry rice from friends.. hahah..

second stop was prata @ Casuarina Road.. yup, i was opened!! the prata was not bad!! the place looks very nice for a prata house too!! recommended!! had egg prata, sup kambing and my fav Neslo!! =)

wanted to eat the AJ- ice-kachang @ AMK central.. but unfortunately, they dont sell AJ-ice-kachang anymore.. so sad!! =( instead, ate some 'sesame paste'.. my friend got this cold oo-nee.. which was so hard and difficult to play.. so we ended up playing with the oo-nee.. had some laughter trying to give new name to our creation!! LOL

dinner time!! dinner @ Bedok.. dont know exactly where the place is, cos i just followed my friend!! hehehe.. this was where all the fun began!! not only the food, but also did some alot of crazy stuff!! but lets talk about food first.. ikan bakar, otah, stir-fried sotong, chicken wings, hokkien mee, oyster omelette and sugar cane drinks!! yum yum!!

alright, wat r those crazy stuff tat we do?? we were playing "Jing Zhi Yu Nie".. we were trying to be like those concubine in the palace, trying to fight each other (aka trying to each as much as possible).. hahah.. and it lasted till the airport!!

well, how often do u countdown @ airport?? for me, tat was my first time!! actually, kinda lots of ppl there too.. we reached airport, walk around abit and waited for the countdown!! followed by games of Boogle!! my fav game also.. playing with friends r much better than playing with your *much* younger cousins and newphew/niece.. more challenging, more fun!! i cant believe tat we played Boogle almost the whole night!! of course got some chit-chatting, eating and fooling around also lah...

such a memorable countdown!! i wonder if things will be the same again for the coming New Year's Eve?? hope it would be the same!!
