The scam!!

OVE outing was good~~ initially now willing to go cos too broke, but well, promised le, no choice..

kaoz.. scammed by the "day day steamboat" (please translate to Chinese yourself) today!! er dao.. scammed me when I'm at my poorest state.. will not go there again!! they charge per person S$18.. then have to charge for the soup also.. S$10 per pot of soup.. kaoz.. isnt the soup money included inside the S$18?! other steamboat only charge S$15 and include everything liao lor!! KNS.. and there is not much food selection lah!! er xin!! ppl, dont ever go there!! remember dont go to "day day steamboat" (please translate to Chinese)..

yesterday was at Hob Nob with some RSPHI friends to celebrate post Christmas and Ibu's birthday!! ahahah.. tat was high and good!! gave Ibu lots of green tea product!! hahah.. I'm surprised by the amount of green tea product available also.. hahah..

addicted to Melty Kiss by Meiji!! the green tea flavour is fantastic, so is strawberry flavour.. wohoo~~ someone buy lots of it for me please.. hahaha.. LOL

The crazy Christmas adventure

Christmas SS ended le.. so was Christmas gift exchange with RSPHI gang.. haha.. got myself a Sunkiller Clear Water SPF50+.. haha.. how suitable.. i really need it to protect myself from the sun!! wohoo~~

crazy adventure yesterday!! went to watch movie with some of them.. National Treasure: The Book of Secret.. very nice.. but i still like the first one.. hahaha..

then stay out the whole night at town area for some chit chat and then breakfast at Maxwell Market.. wohoo~~ high ar..

so tired tat i slept the whole day.. haahah.. still a bit tired now.. tomolo will be back doing FYP.. where had my weekend gone to?? *sigh*

Damaging Liver

been staying up late for a few days le.. i wonder if my liver is damaged oledi? hahah..

the previous few SS performances were more like outing for seniors!! hahah...

Wednesday night, supper with YX, WS, CW and MT.. busy gossiping and chatting.. reached hall at 5am, then straight away had to prepare to go Ubin.. *sigh*

Thursday night, supper with TL and HZ.. but heng ar was in Boon Lay area.. so not too bad..

Yesterday was strolling and picture taking along the SUPER CROWDED Orchard Road.. haha.. all the squeezing.. nevertheless it was fun!!

i wonder how today will turn out to be?

i seriously need to tidy up my room.. like a pig-sty..

Rosy and Jo went for holiday with their respective families.. i want to go for holiday too.. *sigh*

Karma ~ wat goes around comes around

i knew it.. i knew it would happen!!

played mahjong with LT, ah Hui and Jeremy yesterday night.. and i won!! "yi jia chi san jia".. hahah.. won S$13!! but usually when i gamble, i wont win de.. whenever i win means something bad going to happen.. and true enuf.. i woke up late today.. supposed to meet my prof at 8am but i woke up at 8am.. *sigh* super late and have to take taxi there.. sad sad.. though the prof just ask me to get a better alarm in a nice and joking way, but i feel so bad.. *sigh*

another day at Ubin cycling around and watching bird.. didnt do much though, cos just cleaning the room only.. sorting out the equipments, inventory check, tidying up etc.. but the CCTV system was oledi up.. can start watching bird le.. in fact in one of the nest, there oledi got 1 couple of hornbills checking out the artificial nest le.. hahah..

The birds, the boar and the Birthday

yesterday was the first full day bird watching at Ubin.. very shiong and tiring.. cycled the whole day.. cycling the whole day + rocky roads will make your butt ache.. terribly..

well, was rewarded.. saw a pair of hornbills checking on the artificial nest and another female checking another nest.. kinda interesting to just watch them.. saw a wild boar too!! the wild boar just ran across the road in front of us when cycling.. we were too shocked initially.. kinda big wild boar though.. cool ehh.. but wild boar can be very dangerous..

celebrated TL's birthday too at Essential Brew.. finally i used the voucher oledi.. kept for like for half a year le.. hahaha.. the food was nice!! with affordable price too.. ambient also nice and cosy.. well, b'day celebration sure got prezzies and cake!! whee~~ he was touched by the prezzie by the jr. *background music - Yuan Dian* hhahahaha.. joking~~

chatted at Clementi McD after tat.. kinda impromtu suggestion by YL.. high ar.. chat till kinda late though and my FYP stuff haven do yet.. hahahah.. and i'm still here in my room blogging now!! time check, 9.20 and i am suppose to reach bird park at 9.30.. bleh.. hahaha..

2 words - very cold!!

wah~~ the office in JBP is super cold.. i guess the rainy days make it even worse..

stuck in the JBP office for 2 days to type my protocol.. edit here and there.. type this, type tat.. quickly get it done and over with..

wat kind of weather do i like? i would say rainy days.. hahha.. cos i love to play in the rain.. but too bad, i'm not a kid anymore.. else i'll sure rush out to play in the rain.. maybe i should do it one day.. hahahahaha..

this holiday everyone is just so busy.. kinda hard to meet up.. FYP, entreprenuership, work etc etc..

dont have much progress in my FYP yet.. havent start doing anything yet.. except for writing up the protocol.. i want action.. hahah.. waiting for the reply from the prof in Bangkok.. as long as he didnt reply, i cant do anything.. sad..

okay, i shall go back to do my stuff.. update again next time..

Back to Nature ~ Ubin

apparently the half quarter finished protocol was able to smoke through the prof scrutiny.. haha.. but monday i'm expected to come out with a fully and nicely written protocol to be submitted to JBP upper management and NPark management for approval.. where got time to do?

terp course for the coming Sat and Sun.. then Sun morning i'll have to rush to Ubin early in the morning to get the camera hood, which i forgot to bring back.. blur me.. simply hate myself for being so forgetful.. luckily it is not lost.. just left behind.. heng ar..

need SPF to protect myself from the Sun.. can see myself going to Ubin very often le.. now where is my mosquitos repellent? hahah..

Free Coffee ~ Charity for Salvation Army

weird.. the prof asked me to come out with my own protocol.. i seriously dont know wat to do.. and have to show him tomolo.. arrgghh!! no need sleep le.. cos i'm not prepared yet.. bohoo~~ but tomolo going to ubin.. hooray!! wonder how it will turn out to be?

today got free coffee from Starbucks!! get free coffee, but can make donation to the Salvation Army.. whee~~ on the spur of the moment, jio-ed a few ppl to get coffees!! tot the one in Westmall is Starbucks but it is not.. panicked and in the end changed to Bukit Panjang Plaza.. hahaha.. a bit ulu.. still, for the free coffee~~ hahah.. i did donate though.. YX with her new cam, YL with her ATM card, HZ in her blazer,V-jie with her usual style, LT with his usual jovial self.. impromtu-ness.. high-ness..

i remembered last year de, i went with WP for the free coffee.. hahha.. at Raffles Place or was it Suntec? Should be Raffles Place.. haha..

met with a weirdo taxi drive though.. just plain weird.. arrgghh.. he seems to be anti-PAP.. and he kept talking about PAP and how bad LKY & LHL and stuff like tat.. we ignored him le.. still of no use.. arrgghh..

Soup of the Day

i'm sick and tired of thinking the same thing every time i got back to hall.. arrrgghh.. get out of my mind, please.. i wish i can dont care.. but i cant stop but be reminded of it.. damn it..

on a brighter note, FYP was interesting, though a bit tiring.. a lot of walking.. theoretically my FYP haven start, cos the protocol is not yet here.. but the anticipation is enuf to cause excitement.. the discussion about wat we r going to do, the prospect of the project and the opportunity to get close to nature r too exciting.. well, minus the boring literature review, and it will be a perfect FYP.. haha.. got to be very independent for this project..

Soup Restaurant with Ting and Rosy.. the rest cant make it.. their business, i dont care.. bitching about was good to relief stress.. the food was nice.. ice-cream after tat was sinful, but heck, life is short, enjoy it.. crapping was fun too.. haha.. too much 'exhaust air' will make u crap a lot.. hahha.. apply to Rosy..

Exciting FYP

finally met my FYP prof after the FYP allocation.. exciting project ahead!! wohoo~~

collect blood, feathers and faeces samples for the DNA.. paperwork to deal with AVA.. presentation to staff and public.. monitoring hornbills.. writing thesis, writing paper for publication.. possibilities of going to Bangkok to meet a renown field biologist/proffesor and to do lab work.. wat else can i asked for? hahaha.. cool ehhh.. haha..

first session to ubin will be this coming wednesday.. wonder wat interesting stuffs await me.. haha.. i think i better get my lappie fixed so tat i can use it in ubin especially if it got wireless.. hahah.. wohoo~~ high ar...

KTV-ing with some RSPHI ppl.. high.. though didnt hold on to the mike for very long, singing along was fun too~~ itchy throat now..

if you have a feeling tat you r distancing from on of your friend(s), wat would you do? i seriously dont know wat to do..

i'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to details and/or formalities.. when you do something and it is 'bu hao kan' (not in the beauty sense, as in not suitable), i dont really like it.. i just dont.. something just have to be done or not to be done.. and i feel very strongly for it..

i feel so tired.. physically and mentally.. i just dont want to be bothered about it anymore.. i dont wish to care, but each time my heart just soften.. i feel like screaming..

Highly irritable

highly irritable these days.. PMS bah..

terp course today was tiring and stressing.. have to focus on reading signs.. not easy.. and he dont use standard SEE, he used local + gestures.. hard.. and stressful, i think i only understand 50% only.. hahah..

irritated by someone in the MRT.. he was making all sorts of racist remarks.. feel like slapping him.. if a civil war ever breaks out, is all his and his kind fault.. and he talked super loudly.. those youngster kind..

stucked with a whiner today.. sianz.. such a negative person.. i must avoid him, else i'll be affected..

moody these days.. mood swing, highly irritable, 'fan', bored, angry, all the bad moods now.. approach me with caution..

Dreaming away~~

seriously wat happen to all those nice movies on Saturday night? TV was boring nowadays.. how i wish i can get SCV or cable TV in Hall.. arrgghhh.. the boredom is killing me..

my biological clock goes haywired!! slept at weird hours and woke up at weird hours for the pass few days.. and totally lost track of days and times.. have to find my watch to know the exact day!!

funny things is, it is still Saturday and i tot i slept the whole Saturday away.. i tot it is Sunday oledi.. hahah.. weird..

been having really vivid dreams these days.. and it felt so real.. must go and learn dream interpretation.. maybe there is some meaning in it..
