Grad Trip: The beginning

guess where am i now? haha.. at the Changi Airport Terminal 1 now.. wohoo~~ about 30 mins i'll be boarding the plane to my grad trip.. Taiwan and Hong Kong.. hahaha..

dont expect too many souvenirs from me okay.. on a tight budget there.. hahah.. will try my best to get some things back for everyone.. but no guarantee de hor.. hahaha..

Opportunity of a life time

got a glimpsed of wat working life will be.. *arrggh* the morning peak hour was disgusting.. missed 3 trains at Paya Lebar today cos too packed with ppl.. then everyday came back home, legs darn tired.. feel so sluggish and wish to just sit on the sofa and dont move..

neeway, for those who dont know yet, i moved to Marine Parade le.. staying at my Uncle's house, kinda permanent bah.. please dont expect house warming party, cos there are 2 other ppl renting this place..

got to know wat opportunity of a life time meant today.. well, it passed by and i didnt managed to catch it.. so well, i got to live with this fact and move on..

feeling a bit directionless.. can i find a job only after i come back from Taiwan? will it be too late?

was invited to the world's blood donor day event celebration at the Singapore Zoo.. went with TL and J_H.. whee~~ very high ar~~

giraffe, tiger, zebra, monkey, otter, hippopotamus, polar bear, butterfly, elephant, chimpanzee, orang utan, warthog, tapir, wolf, lion, frog, stick insect, lory, panther, leopard, crowned pigeon, bat, turtle.. did i left out any animals?

took a lot of photos.. funny photos, serious photos, crazy photos, solo, two person, there person.. had a great time walking around the zoo and doing funny things.. joking around and fooling around..

but sadly, cant watch any animal shows expect for the elephants de.. was way too crowded today.. the management of the zoo shouldnt have 2 events going on at the same day.. way too crowded!! was a bit very much disappointed cos too crowded to watch any animal show.. arrgghh..

the food and drinks in the zoo is exorbitant!!

the organiser of the world's blood donor day can be much better.. if i'm in charge, i could have done a better job.. hahah.. i guess..

the buffet was nice though.. stuff myself with load of food.. fruit tarts, cakes, samosa, sandwiches, fried rice.. whee~~ free dinner.. hahah.. luckily we walked pass the ceremony area and saw ppl with drinks.. hahaha..

suppering at Jurong East with TL and J_H too.. as usual talk crap.. but got discussed a bit about my plan to open "Table for Four".. haha.. apparently, J_H also interested.. another potential crime business partner.. hahah..

well, time to continue on with my job hunts first.. haha..

Not Once, Not Twice, But Thrice

it's not easy to live without regret.. knowing tat you could do something to change the outcome, but u didnt do anything, is not a good feeling.. i could have do something back then.. not once, not twice, but thrice.. thrice, i didnt do.. and now i can only live with regret for the rest of my life..

the first wake up call was during SPM result, the second was my A-level, and now my honour.. haha.. if only i put in a little extra effort.. oh well.. lets not wallow in self-pity and be emotional.. the road ahead still long..

been stuffing all kind of junk food into my mouth.. bbt, seaweed, potato chips, sunflower seeds, cookies.. i'm gonna be reduced to a lump of fat soon.. arrgghh.. better get my ass moving..

this french movie "Poltergay" is funny.. and the lead actor is 'shuai' too.. hahah..

blissfulness and happiness are in my own hands!! i'll fight for my own happiness..

"sai weng shi ma, yan zhi fei fu".. getting a third class honour didnt seems to be so bad after all.. at least i'm rid of the hold back to continue in bio science industry.. i can go ahead and try other things tat i always wanted to do.. teacher, social works, event management, marketing.. well, it might affect my pay cheque, but well, it how well you manage your money and not how much u earn..

i had come to a complete peace with my honour.. though i'll still appeal for the sake of appealing..

was on the high side

yesterday, spend S$74.65 for dinner for 2 at Soup Restaurant was a bit ex.. but worth it.. though the serving size a bit small, but not bad.. the soup, "Shark Fin Gourd and Lean Meat Soup" was fantastic.. the venison was tender enough.. tofu okay, and the vege nice too.. yum yum..

was on the high side yesterday too, watched midnight "Pandamonium" show.. hahah.. the show was funny and hilarious.. but the plot development a bit poor..

rained the whole morning.. working at Hong Kah Point this morning was bored cos of the rain.. luckily ah wang was there to accompany me, otherwise it would have been darn boring..

time to take a nap before going back to work.. =P

Beyond the surface

the result was out.. was outright stunned by the result and my honour class.. but i oledi moved on.. by the way, i got C for my FYP and third class honours.. will do appeal, but watever the appeal result, i dont mind..

working part-time at Hong Kah Point was such a joy.. this year there is a bunch of kids.. helping me.. they are the kids from the neighbourhood area.. hahah.. there is this boy Ah Wang, so nice and cute.. LOL.. i'm starting to sound like pedophile.. i'm NOT.. he make me feel young again, at the same time, feel like an older brother, which i never had a chance to be.. =P

hope to be back there more often, and i did i mention the good food there?? haha.. you all should go try the food at Hong Kah Point, got a few fantastic one..

Great Singapore Sales

the interview today went quite okay.. but i realise i put the expected salary a bit too low.. hope the boss will offer me higher.. haha..

went shopping for long sleeves shirts and ties today.. bought 2 long sleeves shirts and 1 normal shirt.. retail therapy.. but didnt get any tie leh.. GSS is great.. haha.. everywhere discount.. LOL.. if only i got more money.. thanks to TL and HZ as fashion consultant..

wat happen to all the nice dramas when i need them? hmmm.. *wondering*

The Omen

i start to wonder if i should stay in Bio Sci field.. a lot of my seniors and friends are doing well in other industries.. maybe i should venture out too..

got a reply from a company, asking me to go for interview.. but is not Bio Sci field.. should be doing marketing and event planning stuff.. haha.. i really dont mind event planning.. =P but i heard the pay wont be tat high.. hmmm.. a choice between things i like to do and things i like ($$$).. hehehehe

who wouldn't like money right?

opportunities in Bio Sci field are plenty.. but i got this bad feeling tat i wont achieve much in this field.. just some naggy feeling in my heart.. dont know why also.. intuition? sixth sense? omen?
