finally a little change of luck!! wohoo~~

got a few jobs assignment waiting for me.. partly thanks to Auntie G.. partly thanks to CT.. and partly thanks to myself!! hahah.. Auntie G, CT, will 'chia' you drinks!!!

but still, i dont think the money is enuf for me to cover my ass leh.. still need to get more.. money money money, where is all the money?? who want to donate to "Save-Edmund-from-poverty-fund"?? hahaha

neeway, just talked to Joanne about me being a teacher.. i'm still thinking of it.. cos dont really have 'xing li zhun bei'.. not really mentally prepared.. dont know if i can really handle it all or not.. but being a teacher is kinda my ambition.. though the pay is not really very high.. haha..

or i dont mind being an owner of a restaurant or cafe.. hahha.. maybe i'll be a chef also.. haha.. my own eateries.. hahha.. all my friends will get discount!! wohoo~~ hahah..

COR precamp was fun, but mostly i just nua.. haha.. didnt help much..

wanted to go for another holiday now!! as in NOW!! haha.. suddenly got the urge..

today got FOC meeting.. *sigh*.. i think i'm not a good chair.. well, no choice, taken up the post le.. must finish it.. cannot give up half way.. must try my best to make it a success.. i think my vice is better than me.. hahha..

now i'm just idling my time here.. where is my job?? how come dont have?? sianz..

neeway, read this somewhere in Mathew Andrew's book.. he mentioned tat, if you want to change your life for the better, just start.. start by changing anything first.. dont have to be the things tat you wanted to change, but just start with something.. for eg., lets say you want to improve your studies, well you dont have to start with reading more.. you can start with, maybe, having a better sitting posture.. somehow or somewhere, it will lead to your studies improving (lazy want to explain his theory).. haha.. an interesting theory.. i kinda following it now..

so where should i start? i think i'll start by cleaning up my wardrobe.. in a mess now.. hahaha.. and hope tat somehow and somewhere it will lead to me being rich!! hahha.. so looking forward to the result.. hahah..

Celaka & Fireflies

i was watching the replay of "Gao Xiao Xing Dong" late last night.. Moses Lim acted this auntie tat always said "Celaka".. dont they know tat celaka in Malay is not a very nice word.. although not a vulgarity, but it is still considered as very rude to scold someone celaka.. it is almost the same meaning as 'damn you' but more harsh, i believe..

then i watch the live version of "Grave of the Fireflies".. it is originally a japanese anime by Ghibli Studio.. and i found a live version.. meaning, acted out by real person.. this anime/movie never failed to make me cry.. sob like mad yesterday when i'm watching it.. very very touching.. for those who dont know.. go and watch it..

and it makes me thinks too.. if war is to break out now.. will everyone still be as nice as now?? will you sacrifice your friends to save yourself?? not enuf food, but will you still share it with your friends.. wat if not friends, but relatives.. a stranger?? well, i'm also not sure wat will i do.. just thinking..

PS2 - spend my whole day watching crunchyroll.. finished watching Gateau Affair.. it is about making cakes de.. make my stomach grumble all the time.. and make me want to bake cake too!! hahhahah.. if i know how to bake, i'm sure to bake everyday to share with my friends!! wat else can be more happy than eating a brownie, cookies, cakes or muffins together?? well, i wanna thanks Jo too, cos she always bakes stuff for me to eat!! hahaha.. yum yum!!!

Laptop VS Desktop

*arrrrgghhh* not able to use the computer is such a pain in the arse!! darn frustrated with my lappie.. so many important and urgent stuff to do but cannot use my lappie.. have to use the library computer or hall computer.. but so troublesome.. sometimes forgot something have to travel all the way back to my room to get.. and some important document is in my lappie.. not able to retrieve it to do stuff.. have to type all over again.. sianz.. the opening hour also a restriction.. *grrhh*

decided.. once the new sem begin, i'll get a new lappie/desktop to replace my old one.. no need to think le.. i consider very long liao.. but now the problem is to get a lappie or desktop?? lappie more expensive, desktop cheaper.. FYI - lappie will cost around 2K for a moderate de and a very good desktop only about 1.5K.. but lappie more flexible and convenient.. more portable..

judging by current situation, i'll go for desktop.. but year 4 le.. then when moving out, the desktop will pose a trouble.. lappie easier to move around.. can bring my lappie to anywhere also.. especially when doing FYP.. can bring to my lab or school or even some coffee house..

since i'll be using the school loan, getting a desktop or lappie not a problem.. if get desktop sure more than enuf.. lappie have to depend on the type of lappie i go for.. at most pay a few hundred myself.. but loan is still a loan.. need to pay back.. if go for desktop, when graduate, pay less.. lappie pay more.. in the end still the same..

so anybody got any good advice?? or anybody want to get me a lappie/desktop?? i'll gladly accept!! hahah

been looking for part time job to earn some money.. i should look harder cos now really broke le.. have to starve soon liao.. *sigh*

finally the dreaded skin peeling had started.. after all the sun in Langkawi, my skin started to peel now.. hahah.. a bit disgusting by the look.. =P

Lament of a big spender

another lucky night where i can use my lappie.. must quickly blog before the problem appear again!! hahah..

i'll blog about the Langkawi trip another day.. i haven got the photos yet.. some with WS, some with YX, some with my sis.. will only blog it after i got the photos bah..

well, before i went to Langkawi, i went back home.. had some chat with my mom.. some things tat she said was kinda true and it really hit me hard!! she said i'm oledi 23 years old yet i'm still uncertain about my future.. so old le still spend money like water without thinking about the rainy days tat will come in the future.. if got money must think of how to use it wisely, savings and investment.. not just spend all!!!

kinda true.. whenever i have money i'll use it up by the end of the month.. seriously i dont have a saving.. (having a bank account dont consider as saving.. must have money inside then it is called saving).. if one day i need some cash urgently, i really dont know where to get it..

i must really set aside some money for rainy days.. from now onwards i must set aside a sum of money for saving and ONLY use it for emergency..

alright this is my aim.. maybe a little bit ambitious.. hahah..

1. have at least S$500 and above in my normal bank account (to avoid monthly deduction of S$2)
2. have another saving account that is for emergency use only and put approximately one third of all my income in it
3. when my emergency account reach S$2000, then i'll use some of my saving to do investment

for 3, still have to plan my future investment.. hopefully can be billionaire soon.. hahah.. *i'm dreaming*

well, i hope this entry will wake up others who is like me also.. =)

Return from Langkawi

just got back from Langkawi.. fun fun fun!!!

too tired to updates now.. got an aching shoulder due to too much sun too.. haha.. i go koonz first.. later when i got all the photos then i update again.. hahah..

neeway, my exam OVER liao.. hahah.. so looking forward to my holiday.. hope to fill it wisely.. this holiday, my mom and dad going to China to visit my uncle there, my eldest sis going to Australia and my second sis going to Sabah.. so i cannot lose out.. haha.. i'm going to Langkawi with RSPHI friends, Taman Negara for COR and Philippines for OVE!! 'hou high ar'.. hahah

hmmm.. yesterday after my last paper, is a bit different from other sem.. usually will go out with Zionites gang to celebrate.. haha.. but i didnt yesterday.. mainly is because this sem we all end at different dates and also partly due to having OVE meeting.. the meeting a bit 'bo liao'..

but i'm a bit suay, when i reached, they just pull down the gate.. sianz.. no choice, have to call MacD delivery.. looking into my wallet, only S$2 left.. not enough, must draw money from ATM..

put in card.. press password ******.. then press draw S$50.. *insert scary song here* displayed on the screen "The amount exceed the amount you have" (or something like tat, cannot remember the exact wording).. "What??!! How can it be?".. then pressed the check balance button.. *insert another scary song here* "Ledgar balance 136.90-" "Available balance 136.90-"

CANNOT BE!! i just deposited the money i got from teaching tuition last saturday.. then today some of my friends just transferred money to me for the Langkawi trip.. cannot be negative value de!! as quick as lightning (or even faster), i called the customer hotline!!

then *chey* scared me.. actually they r doing an system update.. so the value will go haywired a bit.. will be back to normal after tomolo 7am.. haha.. 'you jing wu sian'.. make me so 'gan chiong'.. tot tat someone hacked into my account.. hahahah..
