Street Surveyors

the next time some street surveyors stop you and ask you to help in a survey, please be a kind soul and help them out... just help them with the survey, it only takes you about 10-15 mins...

for the past 3 days, i m working as a street surveyor in Orchard Rd (to earn some pocket money)... it is not an easy job... have to stand there the whole day to look for ppl to do the survey... then the ppl that i need to look for have to fulfill some criteria, so really not so easy... not that anyone i pick can... have to be correct age, sex, race, etc etc... tough...

well, u will get all kind of response from various ppl... from very friendly rejection to very unfriendly rejection... some dont even bother to reply a 'no', they just continue walking as if u r invisible... but then, there is some kind soul also... actually, kinda lot of ppl r willing to do... and usually those tat stop to do the survey with me r very nice ppl...

been an unusual experience...

It is HOLIDAY again

i tot the holiday just ended and now it is holiday again... no wonder my mom always said "y u all got so many holidays ar?"... i also dont know y so many holidays...

anyway, since it is holiday, i wanted to pamper myself a little bit... so i went to orchard today and do a bit of shopping... ended up buying 2 albums... one Enya's Amarantine and another is Let's Folk...


both the albums r very nice... didnt regret buying it... :)

ever heard of the poem Ithaca?? well, it is one of the poem tat i like....

well, just in case u dont know wat it mean... i shall tell u the meaning... in watever we do, the end point doesnt really matter... wat matter most is the journey itself, the process tat matter most... so dont always think of wat will i get in the end, think wat will i get in the process... hope it can enlighten u all out there....

Aching muscles all over

wake up with aching muscle all over my body...

went for S.I.G.N.S '06 yesterday as a participant... amazing race around Sentosa with Hearing Impaired people... run like mad... make me so tired especially for me who rarely excersise... now end up having aching muscle...

although my group didnt win, but i guess it doesnt matter... know the poem Ithaca?? well, the journey is wat matter, the destination doesnt... well, i really had fun and most importantly i learn something new... before this i always tot tat if i practice my sign language and memorise the signing hard enuf, then i'll improve... well, now i know tat to be more proficient, i need to actually sign to HI people and try to read their sign... have to change my way of thinking...

sadly, i miss the whole day of lesson today... 2 lectures and 2 tutorials... partly is because of aching muscles and partly is because i want to slack... now tat it is already half of the semester gone... dont know if i can really catch up or not... *sigh* every post i mention to catch up on studies but still haven get started... how?? can someone just slap me and make me wake up...

It happen again

i skipped lesson again today... but not because i m lazy and want to slack...

it is because of all those commitment... arrrgghhh... the result of joining too many things... well, wat i can do now is to quickly get those things done and quickly catch up on my studies...

Back From CNY Holiday

how can CNY be called CNY if dont have lion dance and firecrackers??

well, my dad's lunar birthday is on 2nd day of CNY... so every year we will celebrate his lunar birthday... and alot of ppl will be coming to my house to celebrate for him... my aunts, uncles, cousins etc etc... kinda fun to have everyone together for celebration... the "re nao", i just simply love it...

chinese ppl have this believe that if a moth fly into your house, it is actually your ancestor coming back to visit u... to see if u r doing well... believe it or not... during my dad's birthday celebration, this big moth flew into our house... really huge... how huge is it?? see for yourself...

now tat CNY is over (not really over but too bad no more holiday), time to focus back to my studies...

oh yah... actually something happen during CNY which make me not happy about certain Malaysian... will blog about it soon...
