RSPHI Clementi Chalet

whee~~

highlight of the chalet would be the night cycling.. cool and fun!! but not without injury though.. got myself an aching buttock and 'o-ba-kak' at my leg.. LOL.. from Pasir Ris -> Changi V -> Bedok 85 -> Pasir Ris.. all on bike.. i cant feel my butt at the end of the trip.. ahahhaa.. now still aching.. LOL.. anybody gianz night cycling?? i'm gianz again.. anybody onz??

captain ball was fun too.. i almost forgot i was still recuperating from my dislocated shoulder.. oooppss.. luckily it didnt dislocate again.. hahaha..

BBQ was interesting.. i marinated most of the stuff together with Mag.. heng ar, i turned out alright.. chicken fillets with italian herbs, dory fish with lime and herbs, sausages, banana and chocolate, and many more other food.. muahahaha..

realised tat the Burger King's breakfast is much more tastier and better that McDonald's.. haha..

seriously, i'm tired of being the good guy.. arrrgghh..

Random

yesterday dinner was fun.. with TL, HZ and V-jie.. heard ibu was sick.. too bad she cant join us.. the random ordering was a bit adventurous.. luckily nothing weird turn out.. hahaha.. i didnt have my coffee though, cos got tea instead from the random ordering.. hahahhaa..

a bit worried about my state of joblessness.. 6 months le.. *sigh* do i really have to be a cashier?? hahha.. end of Jan.. tat is my dateline.. if really cant get a job by then, then really have to do something drastic.. arrgghh.. if only i can leach off my family.. hahaha..

sometimes my family members really drive me crazy.. irritating.. i wanna move out!! just like in TVB drama.. stay with friends and stuff.. but i guess tat is not happening.. or at least not so soon.. how i wish i'm 35 now.. so i can apply for HDB without getting married.. then i can stay by myself, or with friends.. hahaha..

looking forward night cycling with the clementi gang tomolo.. it seems like i'm the only super senior joining them.. *sigh*

the prawning (fishing for prawn) yesterday was uber high and exciting.. S$50 for 5 prawns, a bit ex.. hahaha.. but the moment we caught one, we were the loudest.. the uncle opposite must be laughing at us for being so excited over 1 prawn.. if he was to laugh for each prawn he caught, he will be laughing non stop.. lets go again!!

my parents are driving me crazy.. i dont know since when they started to nag so much.. they can nag at almost anything..

i stay at home, nothing much to do, they nag "y waste your time at home?".. so i go do some part time, then they nag "part time can earn much, you waste your transport money instead".. so i stay at home.. wat can i do at home? watch TV or play computer game.. then they nag "y u watch so much TV or play computer game the whole day?".. then i decided to search for job.. then they nag "dont be so picky, do any job you can find".. fine, i got a S$1200 job offer, then they nag "you siao ar, S$1200, eat wat?".. arrgghhh.. i'm going insane soon..

tat's y i told a few friends before, i rather stay with friends than with family.. even my sis is irritating me most of the time.. *sigh*

GAGA GUGU Christmas Gathering 08

the Christmas Gathering was a success!! whee~~

everyone like the "Killer Frog" game.. i think.. the food was great, the ppl fantastic, wat more can i ask for??

the retro theme was rather interesting.. managed to convince others with my "post-war postman" style.. hahah.. lets have more interesting theme next time.. HOORAY~~ i want "blink blink".. or "floral".. hahaha.. the guys are so gonna kill me.. but how come only a few ppl did the forfeit? *sigh* so not spontaneous.. and all the forfeits were considered mild.. i haven add in "lick peanut butter from toe", "scrape other ppl inner cheek", etc.. (CT and Joe, both u should know this kind of thing.. hahah..)

watched the SS performance after the gathering.. okay.. not bad.. met with some super seniors!! Ruping and Jing Jun (did i spell correctly?).. it's funny thing with 6 generation of Clementi centrehead together.. a bit awkward initially, but okay after tat..

one bad point, a lot of leftover food!! arrgghh.. next time we cant be so wasteful anymore..

oh yeah, thanks for the b'day prezzie.. like it so much!!!

A Jazz-y Night

i can foresee wat ppl gonna say at the end of the post.. haha..

went to a concert.. "A Jazzy Christmas: Noel Samba Bossy Nova" by Jeremy Monteiro, Toots Thielemans, Two for Brazil - Paulinho Garcia & Greg Fishman, Grazyna Auguscik, Bart De Nolf, Shawn Kelley, Mohamed Noor.. the singer Grazyna and the percussion Mohamed Noor are cool.. overall it is a cool concert.. they actually played a few Christmas songs in Jazz mood.. bought a CD by one of the singer in the concert, Grazyna.. i know i shouldnt but oh well, how can i resist a good singer?? hahah..

after the concert, went to Cityspace @ Swissotel Hotel.. nice place to chill out!! the view was fantastic.. (if you are wondering, yes, is the one at Equinox, below New Asia Bar).. too bad we can get a windows seats.. but still nice enuf.. the live jazz playing and singing, was okay.. cos too busy chatting then enjoying.. hahaha.. wanted to dedicate this "To-Mae-To, To-Ma-To, Po-Tae-To, Po-Ta-To" song.. but we cant remember the title.. anybody know?? hahah

whee.. had my Kilkenny.. hahah.. (yeah yeah yeah.. say all you want, but i still refuse to admit i'm jiu gui)..

Of Film, Movie and Sinema

had 2 very interesting day on Tues and Wed.. both related to film and production..

was invited to this movies screening at Sinema Old School.. nice and cool place.. the movie theatre is so cozy and comfortable.. found out tat every Tues is free public movie screening.. cool hor, anybody onz on going?

neeway, was invited to the movie screening by James (from SADeaf).. must really say arigato to him.. haha.. though didnt know much ppl there, but still an enjoyable night.. the food was nice and sumptuous.. met Shalini there too, had a very short chat with her.. hahah.. and some familiar faces which i forgot their names.. opps.. cool ehh, they wanna have film making and production workshop for the Deaf community.. maybe i can join in, at a subsidized rate perhaps? hahahha

Wed, helped YX in her FYP production.. as calefare ~ actor with small parts.. played this restaurant customer, tat was supposed to be eating and chatting.. hahaha.. cool seah.. i think production was fun.. okay, maybe not the admin and script writing stuff.. but at least the shooting was interesting.. whee~~

had Mellben Seafood again after tat.. ahhhahaha.. chilli crab.. nice.. ibu was so spontaneous..

can i rant on something also? watched a few of this Quan Yi Fung talk show "女人大主意".. kaoz.. i find tat the topic discussed was so superficial.. no depth at all.. and i find tat Quan Yi Fung like very bitter about men.. is it because of her divorce? she like encouraging ppl to divorce.. or maybe i just misinterpreted her message.. but just dont like tat talk show.. hahahhahaha..

The Story of the Dislocated Shoulder

i will take a very long time to type this post.. y? cos i'm effectively typing with one hand only.. and y one hand? cos i dislocated my right shoulder.. and now it is very difficult to move it..

lets begin from the very beginning..

went to OBS camp.. under SADeaf, to help as a terp.. the activities were fun and interesting.. though a few games were more suited for children and teenagers.. it felt like "duh, i'm a bit old for this".. still fun.. rock climbing, belaying, tracking (more like walking, no forest path, all nicely carved path) and rafting..

rafting was the last thing i did in OBS, cos tat was when i dislocated my shoulder.. hahha.. not too sure wat happened.. i'm trying to help someone up the raft, and suddenly there was this sharp pain.. and tadaa~~ dislocated shoulder..

but interesting, i'm still able to swim for a long time with my single working arm.. hahaha.. able to float around and follow the raft.. of course i did inform the instructor.. but not to spoil everyone mood, i'm okay with floating about and wait till everyone finished the rafting activity..

was send back to the OBS main camp, the nurse there make a big hoo-haa.. sent me to Changi Hospital, did x-ray, see doctor, and viola, i'm back early from OBS camp.. hahah.. sad tat i cant finish the whole camp.. oh yeah, my first time at A&E for treatment.. hahah.. but then again i have something to complain about A&E in Changi Hospital.. but tat i'll leave to next post..

though it is not very painful now.. but the movement is a bit limited.. hahah.. still cant raise my hand high enuf.. doctor said have to wait  at least 1 week.. oh well..

so next time you see me, dont tap too hard on my shoulder, okay.. still painful now.. give me your powerful friendly tap, say, after 2 weeks? hahah..

Bolt

went for another interview today.. okay, i guess.. better than my previous interview.. hahaha..

went to watch "Bolt" after tat with some RSPHI ppl.. hilarious, funny and totally entertaining.. you all should watch it.. the hamster is so adorable..

my food blog is in the progress.. i'm designing the blog skin now.. muahahahha.. hope it will be ready before Jan 09.. *hope*

Indian-styled wedding

meeting JC friends was not tat bad after all.. after you get pass tat awkward point, it was not tat bad.. i'm shocked tat 2 of my friends from my GP discussion group, was together all along!! apparently i just found out.. so shocking.. hahahah..

the Indian-styled wedding tat i attended today was really very different!! they had this very time consuming elaborate ceremony.. first for the groom only, then for the bride only, then for both.. *phew*..

apparently my camera was throwing tantrum.. first, yesterday, when i needed it, it dont have battery.. then today, when i want to take picture, somehow the setting gave me big problem!! arrgghh.. so ended up didnt take any photo at the wedding.. *sigh*

yesterday walk at Labrador Park was interesting.. nice place to just take things easy and to nua.. will go back there again!!

RM got me interested in going for prawning (fishing for prawn).. anybody interested?? lets go!!

saw this 'card wallet' yesterday at The Wallet Shop.. so gianz to buy.. it is just a small wallet enuf to put a few cards only.. and maybe a little cash.. really very small and not tat expensive, S$9.00 only.. if auntie didnt stop me from buying yesterday, i'll get it oledi.. hahaha..

so *hint* *hint*.. hahaha..

well, i'll get it for myself if nobody get the hint.. hahaha.. maybe wait for some Christmas big discount, then go and get it.. LOL

Cursed (of the golden flower)

pure bad luck! am i cursed or wat?

first, was the wallet.. now is my passport.. darn.. i'm in such a deep shit lah..

all the trouble to get all my documents replaced.. sianz..

okay, i found my passport.. *phew* relief siah..

but still, i need to replace my IC and those lost cards in my wallet.. hmmmm.. not easy also..
