Soft Nougat

a bit on the moody and grumpy mood today..

taught tuition this morning.. the auntie was confused on how many times i had taught this month.. well, not the auntie.. wat the uncle.. he kept insisting tat i taught only 2 times when i can be very sure was 3 times.. *sigh* well, in the end the auntie still paid me for 3 times..

second lesson for IS today.. was OK.. suddenly reminded tat i'm in the interpreter course.. need to work on my signing..

dinner with YL in Bugis.. the new food court looks very nice.. but nonetheless, still air-con food court.. so you will come out smelling of food.. walked pass this candy stall in Bugis and bought a handful of soft nougat (apricot flavour, my fav).. not cheap though.. just a small bag for S$21.40.. hahah.. can consider a big hole in my pocket liao.. but too bad, my fav, so cant resist it.. luckily just got my pay today.. hahah..

shall enjoy my nougat now.. must savour it.. hahah..

Saturday High~~

yesterday was fun and high.. but tiring too..

meet with OVE ppl for some fun at Sentosa.. but ended just walk around Vivo.. lunch at Kim Gary, this Hong Kong Cafe thingy tat is kinda famous now.. food not bad.. price a bit too high though.. had ice-cream fondue after tat too.. oh, so sinful.. hahahah..

movie after tat but i felt asleep.. haha.. wake up when everything ended.. wohoo~~ dinner at this Jap restaurant.. food was nice and a bit too pricey.. reminded me of Unkaizan in Langkawi.. i think Unkaizan is the best Jap food i had eaten so far.. arrrhhh, drooling now.. did some crazy things in the Jap restaurant.. we asked for complimentary dessert and stuff like tat cos KB birthday.. haha.. got a surprised when the assistant manager treat us him dessert.. 2 lor.. now 1 lor.. a green tea ice-cream and lemon sorbet.. haha.. whoosh~~ we make KB face turned red also.. keep saying him and the assistant manager.. hahah.. high..

too tired yesterday, came back, straight hit the bed and sleep till now.. well, have to go to teach tuition now.. hahah.. update again next time..

PS: yeah, i'm selfish and possessive.. so wat? i dont care.. tat is me..

Catching Up

had a good laugh and a great deal of catching up with Auntie today.. wohoo~~ lim kopi more often~~ lalalala

had dinner with Auntie and MT.. well, was supposed to join CT, Ting2, Rosy and XXY for dinner.. well, ended up pangseh them.. sorry yeah, cos long time didnt meet Auntie le.. so need some times to catch up with her..

whoosh~~ catching up and gossiping and just random chatting were fun!! YL joined us at a later time to chat too.. and Kian Boon too..

everyone blogged about WSC Thank You Dinner yesterday.. sianz.. cant go cos have to teach tuition *sigh*.. well, heard tat not tat fantastic also.. but still a bit "wasted" de feeling.. hahah.. without realizing it, oledi my 4th year in RSPHI this year.. wohoo~~ RSPHI rocks!! but then, WSC gettting from bad to worse.. *sigh*

finally the entrepreneurship module finished le.. but still have to come up with a Business Plan.. oh well, hope everything goes well.. but i must stress that the module is really interesting.. shall try to follow my dream and set up my cafe/restaurant!! woohoooo~~

been deprived for 1 week due to the module.. now i shall play games to all my heart content!! hahah..

i dont care and i dont give a damn~~ am i trying to run away?? maybe, maybe not..

today YL keep asking me y i dont like her.. well, you dont like means you dont like.. dont know how to explain, i just dont see the possibilities for me and her to be together.. furthermore, getting into BGR is not in my priorities now..

my current priorities, well, get as many 'A's for this sem to pull up my honours.. then save as much money as possible for various reasons.. grad trip, pay back study loan, live comfortably, etc etc.. hahah..

wat else? oh yeah, and guess wat~~ i got into that interpreter course tat i tot i wont be getting in.. hahahha.. life so unpredictable.. i guess i better start improving my signing NOW~~ and YL, if u reading this, you can go to ATM and withdraw that $20 to sponsor me liao.. hahaha..

Mooncake

today is the mooncake festival @ a time for reunion.. too bad i cant go back home to celebrate with my family.. second year le.. second year didnt go back home for mooncake le.. *sigh* got so many mooncakes with me right now, but no one to share with.. how sad..

suddenly feel very lonely.. *sigh*

just now when i'm teaching tuition, suddenly this tot came into my mind.. tot tat my friends going to give me a surprise today.. they will suddenly came to my room or oledi there waiting to celebrate with me.. hahah.. just a tot.. dont think will happen.. haha..

sometimes i really wonder.. where will i rank in my friends' heart.. haha.. not trying to be drama queen king, i just wonder.. hahah..

Surprising Entrepreneurship Module

surprisingly the entrepreneurship module is interesting.. not as bad as i imagine it.. though the things that have to be done are still a lot but yeah, really interesting..

for those of my friends who are taking it later in the sem, dont worry, kinda interesting.. for those no need to take (which means other course lah), i advise you to take it as GE or minor thingy.. kinda fun, insightful..

it also ignite my old dream of opening a cafe or restaurant.. hmmm.. shall give it a serious consideration.. anyone wanna invest? anyone interested? as in i'm really serious you know.. will start to plan for it when i have time and do up the business plan..

also got this idea from our entrepreneur discussion.. kinda interesting.. cos it is not my idea, i'll talk to the guy who came out with the idea after the module.. if he dont mind i shall work on tat idea.. haha.. or can partner with him.. hahah..

whoosh~~ shall earn big buck and be male version of 'tai tai'.. hahah.. lim kopi and mahjong everyday~~ muahahaha~~

Another Step Closer

another step towards my goal.. IS1 lesson began today.. whoosh~~ but it seems more difficult than BS.. hopefully can finish IS soon and go on to AS..

did i blog about the interpreter interview?? well, till now i still haven receive any news yet.. probably cant get it.. ahh.. nehmind, try again next year, and hopefully by then completed AS le.. i think my signing is detrioriating deteriorating and so is my spelling.. arrgghh..

ohh.. got lotsa mooncake to eat in my room.. looks like going to add another inch to my tummy.. what happen to my jogging regime?? must resume soonz..

cant resist the temptation and bought the Neverwinter Nights 2.. hahah.. now i can play to my heart content.. hope not too addicted.. cant let it affect my *already sucky* studies.. hahah.. chiao, going to play now.. wohoo~~

Unexpected Day

was totally an unexpected day..

the orientation for the Entrepreneurship module was unexpectedly interesting.. we really played FOC-style team bonding games.. but you dont feel too childish.. i guess is the way the instructors conduct it bah.. really interesting.. got to know more ppl too.. it was amazing, how those ppl tat attend the same lectures as me for the pass 3 years, yet i dont know them.. haha.. today was a good chance to meet those ppl tat i usually wont talk to de.. great!!

went to Wala Wala with Ibu, WS, MT, Van.. got the band Unxpected.. cool~~ the songs r nice.. unexpectedly, not too crowded also.. wat happen to the usual crowded Saturday bar?? i can only wonder~~ didnt had much alcoholic drinks.. just 1 bottle of red wine, shared between 5 ppl.. then 2 glasses of beer only.. wanted to drink white wine, but dont have the chance.. haha.. nehmind, next time.. kinda addicted to wine recently.. haha.. whoosh~~ should go chill out more often.. hahah.. but sure will burn a hole in pocket.. haha..

the trip back to hall was unexpectedly fast.. but i realised tat, i was from Holland V, not town.. no wonder so fast.. hahah.. and surprisingly i still got the energy and sober-ity to blog.. hahah.. kinda 'seh' when in the taxi, but so energetic now.. haha..

shall go and sleep now..

Hob Nob & Acid Bar

had a very satisfactory dinner and after dinner activity today..

went to Hob Nob to celebrate Joanne's b'day.. the food was fantastic.. really nice.. had baked fish and some mussels.. whoosh~~ thinking about it now making me hungry again.. you all should go and try it out.. nice setting also.. but a bit small.. better make reservation, and try to avoid weekends bah.. well, it is at Far East Shopping Centre, 3rd Floor.. nice nice.. i'll give it 4.5 stars!! oh yeah, did i mention about the cute handsome chef?? hahah.. sabo-ed joanne to take picture with the cute chef too.. hahah..

after dinner, headed towards Acid Bar, somewhere near Somerset.. okay only lor.. a bit small too.. crampy in fact.. but they have nice singers there.. worth the visit if u just wanna enjoy some songs and a small chit chat with A FEW friends.. not very big, so cannot accomodate too many.. we had 7 ppl, and a bit crampy.. i suggest going with 4-5 ppl only..

whoosh~~ high.. tomolo got entrepreneurship module de orientation.. dont feel like going.. i want to sleep late on Saturday.. but sadly the orientation is compulsory.. *sigh* better catch some sleep before tomolo arrive.. hahah.. =)

been missing class so often nowadays.. right now i dont even know wat is going on for all the modules.. i'm so lost!! then 1 week break coming, but i dont have time to revise due to the entrepreneur module.. sianz..

everyone, whenever you see me slacking, please remind me of my second upper, okay.. really need to score well this sem to secure my second upper.. if advise wont work, just slap me.. seriously, just slap me.. thanks yeah..

Decided - I'll be happy~~

was listening to the radio just now and the DJ read out a story.. well, the story was not very important, the important part is the moral of the story..

no matter wat the situation we are in, we can choose how we 'feel'.. we can choose to be happy or not.. we may not be able to change the situation, the weather, the way people behave, but one thing is definite, we can choose how we behave, choose how we react, choose how things are going to affect us.. yeah, ppl tend to say "easier said than done".. but did you really try? dont think it can be done? read on, and u need witness, i can provide it..

i remember there was once i lost my camera at Sentosa and my friend asked me "how come you dont seems to be affected by it (the losing of camera)?".. well, can't remember wat i said exactly, but something like - well, crying and wallowing in my bad luck wont bring my camera back, instead, y not just gather my energy to find it, if cannot find, then enjoy the rest of the day like nothing happen..

and yeah, if you read "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People", in the first habit, is Proactive.. it is basically about how you can decide how stimulus (wat is happening) going to affect you.. tat means you have the freedom to choose how to response, to get angry, to get ammused, to be happy, to be full of self-pitying etc etc.. well, you yourself determine it.. nobody can..

yes, i know it is hard to do it immediately but y not just try? well, y not decide tat today you will be happy and be happy!!

Retail Therapy

went for shopping with Pat and YX on Sunday.. whoosh~~ got myself a new shirt and also a new pair of shoes.. =P

retail therapy can really work wonders!! help u to destress and get you occupied.. the bad side, it burns a hole in your wallet.. but heng ar, yesterday got do the invigillator part time job.. hahah.. so overall, i dont earn anything, and i dont spend anything.. =)

well, went for the interpreter interview yesterday.. wah.. got a shock of my life.. initially i tot it was just an interview.. then when i arrived, i realised got a signing test.. have to sign a passage.. then after i went to the interview room, i realise i must sign and read sign throughout the whole interview.. cos got 2 deaf ppl there.. *sigh* very chui.. i dont think i did well.. cannot read alot of sign and cannot sign alot of words.. *bleh* nehmind, if cannot get then cannot get lor.. try again next year lor.. kampate~~

ohhhh.. i'm bored.. i wanna go lim kopi with the 'old' gang.. hahah.. auntie u seeing this?? when r we going to lim kopi?? hahha.. i'm okay liao lah, can go lim kopi.. whoosh~~

Seriously Ill

woke up today with a very terrible headache, feverish, and a swollen throat.. first time i'm tat sick.. when to the doctor and in a half sleep half awake heard something about viral infection, something about allergy..

well, it's still a wonder to me (even though i'm a Bio Science student) how a small pill and a small injection will do to your body.. fell sleepy and and slept throughout the whole day.. missed my lesson too.. *sigh*

well, still managed to go to the Viro discussion presentation.. surprisingly is super smooth.. nothing much, smooth sailing..

shall rest more and take care of my body..

A Day Full of Happening

whoosh~~ today was full of things happening.. and time really pass by very fast nowadays.. arrgghh.. i dont want to grad yet!! somebody help me!!

today woke up with a very terrible sore throat and headache.. my throat was actually swollen.. then my head was like pounding very hard.. very terrible.. went to school unexpectedly early.. but no use, didnt understand the presentation at all.. all the presenter CMI.. not tat i'm very good, but i really dont understand a thing.. *sigh* muscle biology was terrible too.. cos of the headache, bought some panadol, ate 2 and slept through the whole 2 hours lecture.. haha.. amazing, wat 2 small pills can do to your body.. hope i wont be needing it again..

the Viro presentation was surprisingly smooth.. i was like worrying tat it will drag very long.. haha.. good.. everything went smoothly.. whoosh~~ but one small tiny set-back, i forget which figure i'm in charge of.. hahah.. chui..

studying with the gang at NIE.. make some progress.. good, should keep it up!! but didnt accomplish much also.. shall try harder next week!! whoosh~~

retail therapy was nice.. haha.. went to shopping with friends after slightly before dinner.. bought a new long sleeves shirt.. whoosh~~ if only i have unlimited cash.. hahah..

korean language test tomolo.. shall spend the rest of my night mugging for it.. hahah..

Another High Saturday

whoosh~~ another hou high Saturday night..

woke up a bit late for tuition today again.. *sigh* luckily not very late.. hahah.. tuition was usual.. my kids dont seem to be improving.. is it me or them? i really dont know.. hahah.. will kampate to make them well prepared for their coming exams.. jia you.. jia you.. jia you..

went for the RSPHI orientation today.. to help out here and there.. haha.. enjoying myself totally.. but then can feel tat got generation gap with the latest batch of volunteers.. hahah.. i'm old le.. well, met with lots of the 'old' batch ppl.. haha.. whoosh~~ very long time didnt meet up with the 'old' batch le.. hahah..

dinner was okay.. but i kinda want to eat crabs.. but still dont have the chance.. hahha.. shall got to eat one day.. whoosh~~ after dinner activities were very impromptu.. went to Bugis to the Central Library.. had a short tour there.. actually there got this study area.. but not very big leh.. and seems crowded even though not exam period.. haha..

then went to TCC to 'lim kopi' hahah.. had a very good chat with Auntie, ZZ and TL.. whoosh~~ the 'old' ppl.. hahah.. got this part where ZZ and Auntie talk about working.. *sigh* next year i'll be graduating le.. dont wanna work.. i wanna study.. study more slack.. hahah.. is there any male version of 'tai tai'?? i want.. hahah..

talking and discussing about ppl love life were fun.. hahah.. please bear in mind, we didnt gossip hor, we merely talking about it.. seriously.. not gossiping.. hahah.. i think tat is a topic everyone like.. hahah.. a good conversation topic when you 'lim kopi'.. haha..

aiyoh.. i'm hungry now.. shall go rummage for food.. hahah..

oh great.. just as i hang out my laundry, the sky turn from bright sunny day to a pitch grey.. sigh..

neeway, the weekend is here again.. so fast.. time is zooming pass at a very alarming speed.. *sigh* sign or old age?? perhaps..

Tomolo is just a dream away

ever heard of the story "The Ant and The Grasshopper"?

well, here is a simplified and summarised version.. there was once an ant and a grasshopper.. during summer time, where food was abundant, the ant was busy working to store up food.. the grasshopper was busy playing and enjoying the summer.. one day the grasshopper asked the ant "why dont you stop working and enjoy the summer?".. well, the ant reply, "i cant.. i need to stock up for the coming winter".. well, naturally, the grasshopper laugh at the ant saying tat wat a waste to not enjoy the summer and winter is still far away.. the ant continue working and the grasshopper continue playing.. soon, autumn came, and winter was nearing.. now the grasshopper start to panick.. he didnt stock up any food for the winter.. he spend all his summer and autumn playing and enjoying.. without food for the winter, the grasshopper beg the ant to share with him.. but the ant rejected him.. and without food the grasshopper cannot survive through the winter...

i feel like i'm the grasshopper in the story.. only know how to play and enjoy.. now winter is coming, i'm not prepared at at.. any kind hearted ant to help me??

whoosh~~ finally got my new PC!! hooray~~

exploring it now.. enjoying it now.. hahah.. ppl, get envious!!! lalalalalalala.. look so cool man!! totally love it!! but a bit disappointed cos cannot play GE, cos now GE need to pay le.. *sigh* waited for so long to play GE but now burst le.. well, i can still maple.. hahah..

KTV with Juniors

whoosh~~ went KTV-ing with a bunch of juniors.. darn, i feel old.. hahah.. actually okay lah.. after getting used to them, its okay liao.. initially feel awkward but after the warm up, okay liao..

dinner at Botak Jones again.. well, intended to order something i never tried before.. wanted to try new stuff, but in the end i just ordered fish and chip.. dont really dare to try new stuff.. ohhh, i missed out so many good food, just because i dont dare to try.. *sigh*

well, i'm procrastinating again.. must change.. i'll aim to finish up my work on time.. ever since i can remember, i always dont hand in my work on time de.. will always try to find ways and excuses to hand in late.. well, all of these going to change le!! whoosh~~ a brand new me..
