Decided - I'll be happy~~
was listening to the radio just now and the DJ read out a story.. well, the story was not very important, the important part is the moral of the story..
no matter wat the situation we are in, we can choose how we 'feel'.. we can choose to be happy or not.. we may not be able to change the situation, the weather, the way people behave, but one thing is definite, we can choose how we behave, choose how we react, choose how things are going to affect us.. yeah, ppl tend to say "easier said than done".. but did you really try? dont think it can be done? read on, and u need witness, i can provide it..
i remember there was once i lost my camera at Sentosa and my friend asked me "how come you dont seems to be affected by it (the losing of camera)?".. well, can't remember wat i said exactly, but something like - well, crying and wallowing in my bad luck wont bring my camera back, instead, y not just gather my energy to find it, if cannot find, then enjoy the rest of the day like nothing happen..
and yeah, if you read "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People", in the first habit, is Proactive.. it is basically about how you can decide how stimulus (wat is happening) going to affect you.. tat means you have the freedom to choose how to response, to get angry, to get ammused, to be happy, to be full of self-pitying etc etc.. well, you yourself determine it.. nobody can..
yes, i know it is hard to do it immediately but y not just try? well, y not decide tat today you will be happy and be happy!!
