An Interesting Experience: Course Dinner Will Never Be The Same Again
last saturday i went for one canvassing job as kitchen crew (decent $$ also)... well, my first job as a kitchen crew...
my responsibilties mainly to help put the food tat the chefs cook onto the plate so tat the waiters can served it... i m not sure it is all kitchen or it is just tat particular kicthen i worked in (i avoid putting the name so tat i wont be sued.. .hahah)...
well, to work in a kitchen, i tot tat we need to keep ourselves clean to avoid food contamination... but the chefs didnt even ask us to wash our hands to keep clean... yah, we wore apron and a cap but wat good will it do?? we did use gloves but trust me the gloves r not reliable... it torn easily and some didnt even bother to change gloves when they had do other things (eg. touch other foods, or use the rag to clean the table)...
it is disgusting... the kitchen dont have a QC (QC=Quality Control)... the chefs wanted to be fast so we just anyhow dished the food onto the plate... i expect we have to put it nicely and arrange it properly but no!!! the chefs keep rushing us to be faster... so ended up the food, sauce and everything r all over the plate... if i m the one going to eat tat food, i'll be disgusted... totally no appeal at all...
well, next time i attend a course dinner, i'm sure i'll think about my experience... i wonder if i will dare to eat again.... LOL
