Wat happen to the Volunteerism Spirit?

hehe... break away from the motivational entry for a while...

WHAT HAPPEN TO THE VOLUNTEERISM SPIRIT???

WSC fair just ended yesterday but the no of ppl tat sign up r not satisfactory... *sigh* did the spirit of volunteerism died off oledi?? how come there r less ppl tat r willing to commit themselves to help ppl??

actually i shouldnt lament... "Volunteerism is an activity for all ages and it can involve as much or as little time as you choose. Volunteering can mean diffeent things to different people. It can involve giving of your time, your skills, or your resources. It is giving of yourself in any capacity that you can, for whatever length of time that you can give."

hmmm... we shouldnt lament anymore because the spirit of volunteerism doesnt really ask ppl to commit themselves weekly... it is just us tat require them to commit... maybe tat is y less ppl is willing to join...

just hope tat the actual amount of ppl tat go for interview on 11/12 August will be greater... really hope can recruit enuf ppl for the next coming academic year...
