Environmentally Friendly

Today, i went back to JB again to help out in some blood donation campaign... but today's blood donation was a short one... so ended at around 1 pm, then the manager of the company (yes a company 'cos we r doing it for the employees of that company) treated us lunch... eat until around 3+... then went back to PBSMCJB (which is a short form for Malaysian Red Cresent Society Johor Bahru Chapter) headquarter and help Yap to key in some data... at around 5.30pm we went for our dinner... back in Singapore at around 8+ but i went window shopping (yes, i like to window shop) until 10....

the following happen when i m in Jurong Point NTUC :

suddenly i decided to eat healthy, so i went to NTUC to buy some healthy foodstuff... i grab 2 X 5 bottles of Vitagen ('cos it is on offer until end of April)... dont know wat to buy... ended up walking all around NTUC and looking at each of the items on display... well, when it was almost 10 pm, i decided to pay for the Vitagen but dont know how i ended up in the fruits section... grab some kiwis and strawberries... then went to pay money... well when the cashier tried to put my things (2 packs of Vitagen, 3 kiwis and 1 punnet of strawberries) into 2 plastic bags, i told her tat i dont need tat many bags... but she insisted tat i take 2 bags...

well, those who r reading might think "SO?!"... well the thing is tat i m quite an "environment guy"... i try to practice 3R (reduce, reuse and recycle)... but how am i going to help the environment when others dont support me... I think NTUC should rethink their policy to include environmentally friendly into their policy... well now i ended up having one extra plactic bag... have to think of how to reuse it... otherwise it will end up in recycle bin (yes!! u can recycle plastic bags)...
